Statistics show that having the word sock in your name increases chance of PPR 100 fold.

My life consists of black/white. There is no grey area, so I therefore cannot have another side.
Apologies PN. That did occur to me, but I'd already posted.

I used to go there, bear that I am, trying to get some idea why homes had gone through the sky. I thought that I was out of a club where people earned 50k a year to own affordable property and I was excluded. Not so, it seems, daft things were going on, and our government had turned a blind eye.
I remember the people who had sold to rent in 2002, 2003, maybe if I had been younger I might have done it myself. There was no real reason why property had gone up so much, but what did I know.
Madness took over. Ms.Allsop, once advisor to the Tory party on housing ( and goodness knows, we will quite likely have that bunch in shortly ) told us that it was a one way bet.
Lie to buy they said, have a teaser loan, why not a 125% mortgage, you know you are worth it.
Look at us know. Once again the big wigs won`t admit they are wrong. Knees Up Mother Brown has saved the world. Even Martin has told the oldies to spend. Total mess.
All that dosh that could have been spent in the real economy, not housing La La land.0 -
I do hope they lock these threads that wonder on and off topic rather than delete them.
