Who posts on HPC from this board?

Just a quicky (cos we know some of you like it like that sometimes ;))
I have been pottering about HPC a bit and some of the threads have some real 'depth' to them.

I don't want to sound up my a5$y or anything, but I had dismissed the forum there as a bit ''Holier Than Thou'' in that ''if you don't have a zillion quid in savings and live on groats, you are not worthy to frequent the website'' but I think, I called it wrong.

Anyway, some really interesting threads over there....stacks of anecdotal from PLM's (that's People Like me :o) plus from PLT's (the People Like Them ) and I wondered, just wondered, who goes there too as I didn't recognise anyones names nor posting styles from my quick visit.

It's like walking into a strange place and hoping someone will talk to you...then they don't and you end up cupping your hand over your mouth, breathing out and sniffing.:o

Apologies in advance to Miss Kool, who may lock the thread before I get any responses (as it IS a competitor afterall) but competition is good in a free market. ....ML knows that.

I have used 2 blush emoticons so far (handy when one can't find the right words) so says it all really.

Not me, but I thought we all had a zillion quid in savings and lived on groats. Is that not the case then?? I'll get me coat. :hello:
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

That's sooo...mean..NN ;) I am not poison...I am...err..umm.. sweet smelling, butterfiles in pink or whatever...not poison (dear, dear no skull emoticon)

Explain, 'Who got to me'' ?

Some smart stuff there in amongst all the dogma. Not too much ranting either though I haven't explored all the threads.

Some of us pretend to have a zillion quid and live on groats when we are actually, risking our all on new eneterprises etc.

I find one forum on the subject sufficent. The level of debate here is of quality in the main. With plenty of varied and diametrically opposed views. I've learnt plenty myself.

The recent purge does seem to have made the forum a more pleasant debating chamber. With a noticable increase in respect and politeness between posters , even if views differ.

The subjects we debate are out of individual control. Though hopefully we glean enough wisdom to pass it on to others outside of the coven.:shhh:

I learnt a lot from the HPC board. But there never seemed to be anywhere to join in. And they don't have a thanks button. cgnao was bit of a nutter - but he was proved right, sort of. eric pebble was a bit of a nutter, but he was right. I guess prohets through the ages have always been mocked until being proved right, when others take the credit for it.

Anyway I digress. HPC - good place to learn stuff. Bit dry for me though. And actually I think I've learnt all I need to know.

I used to post there, bear that I am. Some bright folk there. Does anyone remember TTRTR, always winding others up?

Ah yes - time to raise the rent. I remember well. I only posted four times though, was mainly ignored. They didn't really 'get' me. That's why I came here - spotted some amateur bulls faffing around and thought I could have some fun.

If I knew I was going to waste a year of my life I might not have bothered.

    edit: Here's hoping I get ppr'd soon.

Nice one Mewbs. He was a terror the TTRTR. A lot here would be toast if they posted at the other place.
