You possibly have!! She's been to a few mainly Manchester but I think she went to London once too. Her husband has been away and while he was gone she put up a Hanson poster in their living room and it's still there now! She also has a ring of the H symbol thing that she wears all the time!0 -
Jillie nice to see you back we'd wondered where you'd been.
Glad you and baby are now safe and well0 -

EA- sorry to hear you're feeling rough. Have they signed you off for two weeks, or did I imagine that they do that as standard with swine flu?
Well the nurse didn't really state how long i should be off work. She just said stay at home and dont infect anyone else
When i called work to tell them and asked my manager he said he didn't know the doctor has to sign me back into work.
So i'll have this week off and see how i feel over the weekend
Shelvis & Fairy - Congrats on the births of your babies
They are both so cute
OH's game expansion pack just arrived from amazon. He wanted to have it gift wrapped because he said he never recieves gifts. I said no cause it costs extra. And just wrapped it in old xmas wrapping paper for him
Also, i had a McDonalds yesterday. My lovely little sister gave me 5 sour cream dip pots cause she knows i love them
She also has 4 at home for me. She sure knows how to make a sick lady happy :rotfl:
Had the summer chicken burger, it was nice but i felt stuffed all night. She also gave me and OH a free donut each, but i dont like donuts. I told OH i didn't like them and he said "yeah i know they were out of muffins" Then later my sister told me that there were muffins but OH said we'll have donuts instead lol.

Congratulations to Suzy and Shelvis. Hope you are feeling better fairydawn.
And thanks to those who have congratulated me on getting the date for section. It is very, very wierd, to know the exact date.Got a chance for a sneaky catch up after all. Oooh lots of us now who want elective c sections! Will be nice to be in a group. Its funny how often the tone of the thread changes though. When I first posted about it, there were lots of girls who were ardent home birthers with no pain relief, but now things seem a bit more evenly split!
Congrats on getting your section Nicki. C Section or major pain relief has always been my way of thinking. And the ardent home birthers with no pain relief used to scare the hell out of me. I'll hold my hands up to them in awe and wonder, but it is so not me. I did ask Money Makers advice a few times, as she was always looking for an elective section. She was my guru! And hopefully will be again when i transfer to the parent thread, because i can't remember a thing about DS being a baby.

I just feel each to their own. It seems to me its a personal decision, and I just don't understand why some mums to be hector other mums to be because they've made, or want to make different choices, particularly if those choices are informed ones. It bugs the heck out of me too when some mums to be sneer at others in their ante-natal classes for not having read as much as they have about the birth process, as we all have different priorities in life, and perhaps the other parents have very full on jobs or caring responsibilities for elderly parents or something, and are shock horror coming to the antenatal classes to learn about these things, rather than to show off their own knowledge gained from books and the internet
Makes me sound like a grumpy old woman and perhaps I am, but the things I enjoy most about reading a forum like this are listening to other mums and mums to be sharing their experiences about what they are going through, but the one-up-manship just leaves me cold. Fortunately though the thread isn't currently too bad for this, though it has had its moments in the 7 months () I've been posting here.0
