Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Hi all - haven't fully caught up yet, skim read most of it, and want to read Shelvis' huge post above
Went to McD's earlier, sooooooo delish.
Tigs, thinking of you and hoping your baby stays put!kindofagilr wrote: »Beenie - yay for team pinkI take it you already have a little boy?
Can you still veet bikini line while pregnant? I use veet all the time, well OH does it for me actutally
Yeah my DS is 6! He wanted it to be a boy but he doesn't mind too much now. He's very sweet, i hope this next one is as well behaved!!
I have used Veet still, although i use the sensitive one, since it's a sensitive area, not necessarily cos i have sensitive skin lol.
workingmummy - congrats on getting c/s dateHi all, finally released from hospital last night:j baby Oscar was born by emer/cs on 07/08/09 at 5.54pm weighing 6lb 12oz.
Congratulations to the other new Mum's.
Hope everyone is well.
Dawn
Congrats!!:D:D Cool birthday!
Congrats to vickylee also on your arrival! :TSarah_Joanne wrote: »I'm going to ask a (possibly) silly question now: how come a few of the ladies on The List have thesymbol after their date - is it that they aren't sure of the date?
Those people wanted to know but scan didn't show anything as far as i remember.
Those with no icon didn't want to know. I could be wrong, but i figure it's better that way anyway otherwise most of the list will be full ofkindofagilr wrote: »How many scan photos did you all get at 12 week scan?
I think at my hospital you get one free then have to pay for rest?
Was that the case for you? if so how many extra did you buy?
I got one, it didn't even cross my mind to get two, it wasn't moving an awful lot so it would have been copies of the same pic, and if i was sending them it'd be via email anyway.
Yay Suzy & Shelvis huge congrats!! :T0 -
Awwwww babies!! Congratulations Suzy and Fairydawn on your beautiful arrivals :j Hope mums and babies are doing well xx
Welcome newbiesCan't believe were into April 2010 due dates already!!!
Would just like to thank whoever started up the twilight convo up this morning (was it you Kindof?!) I had the urge to watch it again, so spent a while watching it in seperate parts on you tube. LOVE IT!! But I got no housework done whatsoever, had to do a really quick tidy up before OH came in from work to make it look as though Id done something!
Collected my latest ebay bargain earlier..a padded cot top changer from toys r us,in excellent condition,it looks brand new! For 99p!!! :j
Oh and the mess around with the doctors continues...went to collect my perscription for iron tablets to be told there wasn't one for me there!! They didn't even have a record of anyone phoning me up to tell me I needed them. !!!!!!! All the receptionist could do was book me in to see the nurse tommorow to get it sorted out. Made appointment for late afternoon cos OH has the day off work tommorow so were taking ds to local indoor snow slopes to do tobogganing-he's so excited bless him- and ds is abit too :rotfl:and before anyone asks...no,I'm not taking part, I'll be watching on the side.
Rightyo, off up to get in bed as I can't get comfy,my bump feels like it's stretched to its limits already! 30 weeks tommorow :j
Nite all xxxxlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
CONGRATULATIONS SUZY! Really pleased she's arrived at last, and hope you are all wellGreat news for you Nicki, I hope it goes well. What about the wobbles? Settled down any now you know exactly what is happening?
Feeling miles better thanks Tia. I saw my Psych tonight, having only had the news this morning that it was definitely a c section, and my assessment has gone down from borderline depressed to normal, and my anxiety scores from high to barely registering! He's going to keep an eye on me nonetheless between now and the birth, but obviously we are both happy with how much more comfortable I feel now that the decision has finally been made and I can plan accordingly.0 -
Got to laugh, i have been reading up on the RLT to find out the pros and cons and exactly what it dose. What i have found is a definite misunderstanding of it's use. Every forum i have found their is always someone complaining that they were over due and the RLT did not help them give birth early. No matter how many times it is posted that it is not a labor inducing trick more a body preparation they still complain.
Still reduced time for second stage labor is a massive plus and anything that can ease the pounding that your body takes is a plus from me.
Now next on the list Arnica? is that right for the bruising off to search anyway. what else do you's recommend taking later in pregnancy?labor and after, so i can read up and add them to my to buy list??[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Baby Aiden
born 26th Jan :T0 -
Sorry, haven't had time to catch up as parents are here, but will pop back on later for a full catch up.
Had my scan earlier today, and baby is still breach, and estimated weight at 33.5 weeks is 6lb 3 oz. So it has been agreed that it will be a planned c section in the week beginning 21 September. Those who know me, know that this is GOOD news, after a previous very difficult VBAC. Those who don't know me, please don't post that there is still time for baby to turn, or suggest a home birth is still possible for a large breach birth, as this is not what I want and will really freak me out!
Will come back later tonight when parents have gone to bed and catch up properly. Hope there will be some good news from Suzy waiting for me.
Thats fantastic news, I am so pleased for you
At least now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy a bit more :TThe two best things I have done with my life
