    Morning ladies
    Hope everyone is ok
Just been trying to catch up as my niece broke my laptop !!! Knew leaving her alone all day was a mistake but i did come home and they had cleaned up the flat but now i have to wait for 3-5 days for it to be fixed ahhh. Also just a quick question all i seem to be doing is going the toilet quite a lot tmi but only weeing but had to get up five times last night and it's doing my head in i must admit i try and drink loads of water and take water to bed with me but it's getting to be annoying now but sure if this means i could have a water infection or it's just normal at this stage 27 +2 days. Thanks ladies and those vibes and sticky vibes to those in need

Lou - I have been up to the toilet to pee at least 3 or 4 times a night since about week 20! My urine is always clear at every midwife appointment, so it can be totally normal. You want to keep your fluids up, particularly during the hot weather, but it's catch 22 as you are going to be up half the night. Sometimes though I get up and not even do much at all - I just feel like I need because of the way baby is lying.

    Morning,

Elasti I'd wondered the same about M&P outlets, we've got one about half an hour away but can't be bothered driving til I know if they're any good  & your bum doesn't look huge at all :p

Today I'm debating whether to pay and get a private scan - OH thinks we should just do it, I'm too tight :p As I don't appear to be growing and can't feel anything, I'm really panicking...stupid I know. I half think that if I pay now, I'll want to go next week too, and the week after...and it'll get out of hand :o So...must try and hold out til 20 week scan in 33 days, or buy a doppler?!

    xxxx

Yeh the m&p outlet near to use is a good 30 may be 45 min drive at a discount retail park but like you don't want to drive all that way if it is the same as a normal store.

On the scan front, i didn't want one really but hubby did. i am so tight with money as i am a SAHM but we had no movement for a few days so he booked it without me knowing. It was fantastic it was just at some ones house so very friendly and relaxed. They were all trained and employed a full time sonographer. Although it was in their housr it was very proffesional. I think hubby paid £130 we got 20 min dvd a cd with 56 pics on 1 10x8 print out and 6 6x4 prints. There also do smaller and larger packages.
    This is my signature!

Morning all, can report that pineapples do not work:rotfl: Had 3 and only got a sore tongue for my efforts.
Before I had them tho had 2 hrs of BH's 8 mins apart. At this rate of false alarms I'll not even realise I'm in 'real' labour and end up giving birth on the sofa

    Big congrats to Jillie

No ML yesterday, I'm thinking cub has made an appearance!

Ha ha, I had a curry for dinner last night. And I have a pineapple in the fridge. It's been there for over a week and is probably a bit mouldy mind you!

Hope ML and Jam both have their babies by now. Fingers crossed your false alarms ease up and your baby gets on with things soon!
  • Thats a good price! Here its £190 for a 45min scan with a 15 min dvd, 1 A4 pic, 3 6X4 pics and a cd full of about 20-25 pics.

But it varys from £150-£250. x

Lou i was just saying the other day about the frequent weeing :D

It's funny cos the 27 week emails all mentioned it and i've suddenly started going more often!

Not waking up in the night yet though, but do feel like i will burst in the morning!

This is me - though it's a miracle because even before I was pregnant, I used to pee about 40 times a day :p

  • OK Well it's seem quite normal then, I would give anything for a full nights sleep but i suppose better get used to not having them !!! I was quite mean and hit oh last night after the 4th time and i went to get back into bed and he had taken over my half of the bed as well, he's excuse was this morning was he likes our feet touching at least becuse I cant sleep all cuddle up i need my space, so when his feet cant find mine they come searching did not know whever to slap him again or cuddle him.
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j
  • Just wanted to butt in regarding the M&P outlet stores, i went to our nearest one (East Mid) It really depends on what you are looking for. I was after the Luna mix pushchair, they had them there but there were special offers at the 'normal' store which the outlet didn't have so therefore it was cheaper to buy from the normal store. (also got the one from the window greatly reduced!!):money:
I think it is pot luck as to what is in and when, but don't forget the other outlet stores that are usually alongside them, Next, M&S to name a few. x
  • Haven't posted for a while but been checking up on how everyones doing. Congrats to all those who now have their babies. It's exciting knowing it will soon be my turn! Had midwife this morning and baby is still lying back to back so I'm off to the supermarket later to try and get an exercise ball. Midwife said it is the best thing for trying to turn bubs. Also had glucose in my urine for the first time but hopefully it's nothing to worry about. If I haven't gone into labour by my next apt on the 1st Oct she is going to do a membrane sweep. Wow, I'm getting so excited now - just want her to be here, if only to stop being woken up in the middle of the night by karate moves in my tummy!!!

And on the wee front - I am usually going 6-7 times in the night so some of you have got it easy :p
