    Congrats Jillie and zgaze!! :)

We're having dominos for dinner :D It came to £45 for 2 large pizzas and 2 side orders and 4 dips! But i used my 30% off code, so its only £32 and we're putting a tenner in each :D

Me and OH moved all the boxes earlier and the tape we used is rubbish and came off and most of our stuff fell out lol. So we had to repack and re tape them *sigh*

My sister has stolen me like 20+ McD sour cream dips :) She's the best hehe x

You've got an excuse:T and very lovely he is too. I'm just too tight to buy bigger trousers for what I hope is only another week of being this size. I hate tracksuit bottoms and refuse to buy either them or the horrible dungarees that my mate wore for last few months. So I either sit around in jammies or squeeze into jeans when I go out of the house.

Right, I really do have to go and get McD's now, I've tried to find something else but I have to have some.

    Back later

    xxxx

Get yourself some leggings! I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy New Look ones under big jumpers, long tops or little dresses. So much comfier than proper trousers- I have under the bump and over the bump and I find they all dig in if I'm sitting for a while.

OMG I love MacDs Sweet and Sour dip- unfortunately I don't really like anything else from there so don't get it very often.

Well I just had a lovely long nap in bed. I just suddenly felt so sleepy so thought, why not?!

Also finished off a big piece of work at home today- I'm not getting paid for doing it today, but it does feel so good to have it finished and emailed off. I had a dream last night that I was supposed to be handing an essay in but still had loads to do on it- it doesn't take a dream analyst to work out I'm worried about finishing my handover at work :rotfl:.

Is anyone on here signed up to Bizzie Babies? I've just been sent a box of Spatone to review for them which I'm really pleased about as I'd just started taking it again in preparation for the birth so this has saved me £6.99!

We had this last night, but I paid for it later! Didn't eat until just before Ugly Betty started which is too late for starters, then heavy greasy food on top. I only managed 2 slices of pizza but was up with horrible heartburn and reflux from 3.00 am onwards. Was so bad I ended up getting up at 5.00 am and ironing all OH's shirts, which has never happened in almost 20 years of wedded bliss!

We're having potato dauphiniose tonight with chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and cherry tomatoes. Just about to go and stick them in the oven.

I hope u got dressed to go out :rotfl:

He he, I did. But only put jeans on, been wearing a normal top on top of jammies so looked ok (ish). Sure everyone was staring at me for my healthy eating choices for this poor baby. I promise I won't be blending it up for her in 6 months time :o

AH, hadn't thought of prepreg ones. Got some from the dreaded peacocks and they are the same quality as everything else I got from there. Fall down, worn thin at the thighs, baggy at the knees. It's only another week and I'll be back in my normal jeans :D Stop giggling at the back!!!!!

  • Hello there, slightly off your subjects (sorry) but I just wanted to ask for some friendly advice.

Have been diagnosed with SPD finally after months of eratic pain episodes (the most recent being me thinking I was going into prem labour)

This is my 2nd full pregnancy, 1st went by without so much as a bit of protein in my urine!! (sorry if that offends) nearly 5years ago.

The question I wanted to share was that since yesterday I have been getting pins and needles in my left hip, making it very numb and painful to sit or stand. Today it felt like it was on fire (literally) and it's even more numb! almost can't feel my nail running along the area.

Called midwife and they have said it's syptomatic of SPD but I can't find anything that says that.

no worries if no-one can help me...a problem shared and all that......

    thanks
    Angel

    Hi Angel.

Sorry I can't help but lots of ladies have SPD so hopefully someone will be along soon who will be able to help you.

Might also be worth asking on the parent thread as some of our recent transfers also suffered.

Hope you get some answers soon.

  • Hi Angel, my Dr has said I have SPD, although I am lucky in that it comes and goes rather than is constant. I haven't experienced any numbness, but have found that any lower back or hip pain is classed as SPD when I tell the Dr so not surprised that the midwife said this.

    How far along are you?

I'm off to bed now. Only two working days left!!!

    Hi Angel

I had SPD in my last pregnancy and I was told by the physio that the pins and needles were caused by tension in a muscle in my bum (:o) which was pressing on the sciatic nerve. The muscle tensed up because of the way I was (trying!) to walk due to the SPD. The only way to get rid of it was to rest because moving around just made it worse.

    Hope that helps
