    Hello Europa!

At the birthing classes I went to, the physio also advised us to spend 10 mins each night on all fours, rocking your pelvis back and forwards to move the baby into position. I found this easiest on a bed as you get a bit of bounce as well!

Going to have some brunch and then bounce on my gym ball in the hope of moving things along. Baby is in position - just need to bounce it out now.

    Hiya Fitzio,

Just wondered, do you sit on the ball and bounce normally or do you do something else like lean forward against it? Midwife appointment on Tues was told that baby is back to back and also head has descended into pelvis. Found this a bit scary as doesn't seem to have moved since and don't know whether this means more chance of cs or more pain on delivery if he doesn't change position?

Also, do hope things get moving for you soon x

    Hi,

I am just gently bouncing on the ball mostly, but sometimes rocking back and forth or doing circular movements, just to move my pelvis around, but really I am not sure. I didn't get any instructions with the ball, and haven't found much on the web.

I think that if the baby isn't breech and is head down, it still has time to turn, and if it doesn't, they can "manually" turn it for you, but don't quote me on it! Just get rocking and bouncing and see what you can do first. x

Fidget, Fitzio's advise is right! My midwife just said that it makes labour more painful as you labour more in your back. Still got plenty of time for it to turn and yes it can turn right up until birth and they can turn it for you but good to do everything possible to help. I've been on all fours every night trying to get her to turn as I found out 5 weeks ago that she was back to back but it hasn't worked so I'm going to have to get a ball. Hope they have them in today as when I want something I have to have it now!!!!:rotfl:

    Yes it will be.

I'm a bit confused at how you work out the number of weeks, is it from the first or last day of last period? I know it's awful but I'm just wishing the weeks away to get to that point! I'm not normally a secretive person and I'm finding it so hard having to make up excuses for why I'm not drinking alcohol or caffiene!

Telling my boss tomorrow when she comes to see me though which I'm a bit nervous about.

It looks like they've booked me in for my scan at only 11 weeks. Is this fairly normal or do you think I need to put it back a week?

Its from the first day of your last period, so it would be cycle day 1.
    I think lol.

But it changes at the scan most times anyway, i thought i was 12 weeks and infact i was 12+6 at my 12 week scan :D
But at my earlier scan, i thought i was 8 weeks and i was only 6+4.

It always changes depending on growth

I was lucky, i dont drink caffiene or alcohol anyway, though i did stop eating Ice Cream for the first 12 weeks:rotfl:
