Your scan is around 12 weeks, and until they do the scan, you won't know "exactly" how far you are, so 11 weeks by your dates would be fine I am sure. They may date you further on that 11 weeks. Good luck with the scan - bet you are excited!

If its a nucheal scan its between 11wks and 13+6wks.

Dating scan doesn't matter so much

It's up to you but if you dont you may get two scans like a few of the ladies on here,as far as i remember they went a bit early and got called back for another scan. I think it's meant to be 12 weeks but i did not have mine till I was 13 nearly 14 weeks because they had got my dates wrong so you never know.

Hmmm.. i dont know what to have when my lunch break comes around.

I had a sausage bap for breakfast, some chicken soup for my first break lol.

I get hungry really quickly so by the time lunch comes around in an hour i'll be starving again

oooh I hope I get called back for another scan! Would be fab to have two.

TBH I think I would rather go earlier as I had some spotting last week as I mentioned on an earlier post. I've not had any for a few days so I think everything should be ok but will be a relief to see a scan to make sure!

Yup, I had a scan that was around 11wks according to LMP, but I was actually a bit further behind, so they had to do another one two weeks later in order to do the measurements for the nuchal screening (since the baby wasn't big enough) - so I got 2 scans .

When i had my early scan it put me back by 9 days, and it was a horrible 9 extra days to wait for my 12 weeks scan.

When i eventually had it, the relief i felt was amazing

I had my first scan at 12 weeks+5day and while little one was right at the bottom of the height chart for dates, they left my due date as it is by my dates even though on one of the scan pics says 12+0 with a different date, can't remember for the 20 week scan but at the 28 week scan last week, he was measuring 27 weeks + 0 or towards the bottom of the scale of being right for dates so they do allow a bit of leeway. All my scans have been late for dates IKWIM so never had to go back for repeat scans because of being wrong for dates.

Found out about another pregnancy at work today on the unofficial grapevine - thats 4 of us now and there's only 40 odd in the office!

Ooh, nearly half 1, so that's another half day in the office over! Definitely leaving on time today despite sick day yesterday as it's aquanatal so see some of you later! Not got my turquoise bikini today, some tropical floral tankini monstrosity that hoping will stretch enough!
