Sorry been abit of crossed wires on this one. The attempts were made before the hospital took her. We begged them for help as the things were beyond a joke she was using everything and anything in her attempts, think prison shanks. Just thank full that someone actually listened because i was starting to think i would be planning her funeral shortly.

Gotcha. Amazing how much you think about what people say on here when you're about your other business!

  • LOL all this talk of mums and MIL's made me laugh remembering when my DD was born. OH's mum always went on about baby sitting but every time she did it was a nightmare. We would ask her to babysit until 10 and she'd be on the phone at 9 etc asking when we would be getting her. one time she was on the phone before we made it out the taxi, so we gave up getting her to babysit.

My mum on the other hand was a nightmare for different reasons. she would say get the kids in the morning at 10 and i'd go down to collect them and be left waiting half the day because she'd take them out. so i had to say i would be their at 12 but turn up at 10 to catch her heading out lol But this is the woman that has already told me that DS will be staying with her when the weather is bad and i am due baby so i don't have to drive him to school:rolleyes:

    Morning girls,

I can't be the first one up, surely? More likely the only one who has gotten around to logging in yet this morning :D Hope this means you are all getting a good sleep!

I'm actually up early for a change - usually I'll go back to sleep when hubby goes to work (if I can) but I'm really hoping that a parcel will turn up today (though there is really only a slim chance of it turning up today) It will have lots of nice baby goodies in it though so I want it now, even if I can't open it until hubby comes home to see it too :D

Right, breakfast - don't think I have a lot in the house as need to go shopping, but sure I could round up some cocopops...

    Hi squishy.

I'm up too. Just having a cuppa and reading the paper. Well, about to. I got caught up in someones old photos on Facebook of when I was at school. (Many moons ago) and was busy reliving my mispent youth. Haven't even thought about most of the people for years.

Seeing best mate and gorgeous god-daughter this morning. Also got some shopping to do. Then home for an afternoon in front of the tv before another mate comes over tonight.

Absolutely loving Maternity Leave. Wish I'd done it weeks ago. Am so lazy, can't believe how much sitting in an office all day was wearing me out.

Hope all are well, fingers crossed for babies staying in just one more day.

I know what you mean! I knew I was getting a bit tired at work the last weeks, but hadn't realised how much until I went on leave and all I wanted to do for 2 weeks was sleep :D
  • morning all

thought we were underway yesterday - contractions every 10 mins - but nothing much overnight and nada this morning :( DH has gone off to work as normal. Contractions weren't painless and were pretty regular - or have we been silly and confused BHs with the real thing?

    Morning ladies,

Always sorry didn't say hi to you last night, everyone seems to dash off so quick after aquanatal and I wanted to apologies to the instructor for being late. Yes that was me being late! took over an hour to get there so am going to have to replan my journey and timing, it'll be a bit of a mad dash but as I enjoyed it I feel its worth it.

Harley & Squishy am so jelous can't wait to get off on mat leave, but thats more to do with just not being happy at work atm and not because of PG. Have agreed that my last 6 weeks of work will cut down to 4 day weeks and use up the odd 6 days annual leave I have. Bonus as they fall over xmas and new year lol.
