OH said to use my old exemption card. But i might get into trouble for it. I never used it i just kept forgetting to send it back.
I might call it to see if i have an out of hours docs. Have to find my phone now :rolleyes:0 -
Called my docs, had to go through a recording about swine flu.
Anyway i got the number to call an out of hours gp.
But it said to only call in a true medical emergancy, if its not a true medical emergancy to wait until the surgery opens.
Im not to sure, i dont want to phone and get told off for calling for a possible non emergency x0 -
Called them, she said someone will call me back
It was very confusing when i called she asked which gp i was calling for and i went "Oh, i dont know" :rotfl:0 -
EA - if you dont feel well and it could be swine flu - might it be an idea for your oh to pop out and get a thermometer? At least you will know then and can also take steps to reduce that temp? I am not sure but i have heard somewhere that it is better to try to reduce a high temp if you are pregnant0

Glam, Fitzio, Sugar and Boo, thanks for the Birthday wishes (and cake Glam). You're right, it is tomorrow but since I have to work we decided to celebrate today instead. I've not worked on my birthday for nearly 20 years but decided not to waste a day when I could take it later and spend it with bubs instead.
Mum made me a birthday cake, it was gorgeous and better still she sent me home with the half that didn't get eaten. Yay, cake for a few days without having to make it myself.
Happy Birthday to Aless, hope you are spoiled by your family, and make the most of the shopping and treat bubs to some lovely american clothes.

Hi all,
EA - I know you've logged off now, but take care of yourself and keep us updated xx
Aless - happy birthday!
So, after the fun of the start of the weekend, I've tried to take it a bit easier today. Still went out round a few shops as we did need to get some things, but hubby drove and I did walk about very slowly: not a lot new there, as I've definately slowed down  Was a bit achy, but put that down to normal 'you're almost 35 weeks pregnant and have put on 24lbs' soreness rather than anything elseHad my first tuna sandwich in 8 months for tea which was soooo nice
I'm going back into work tomorrow: sure, I'm tired, but have been for a while now: I called to check with the midwives at the hospital and they say they're happy for me to go in, but if I start cramping or bleeding to let them know. They were also quite impressed that at 34 weeks I was still working
Was talking to hubby and we were both surprised that the doctor was talking about steriods for the baby if I went into labour now: I didn't know they would still be needed this late on?Oh well, at least the infection got caught faster than it would have been (seeing as my last appointment was just on wednesday and tests were clear then!) so hopefully that will lessen chance of going early and bubs will stay cosy for another couple of weeks yet
Am now deciding if I really want icecream or if I'm just bored :rotfl:0 -
