I'm with you on that one have been looking around but not seen anything that made me go AAHH seen one that me and OH liked but never had that wow factor that you can get with a sexed suit.
For the moment it is unisex baby grows and sleep suits you cant go wrong with white lol but if one more person says lemon i'm gonna ram a bush up their @@@@
Not meaning to boast (:p) but I've got some pretty lovely unisex stuff. H&M had some very cute stuff when I looked in, and I've also got some lovely stuff in Asda. I found MC very disappointing as their stuff seems to be very boy or girl.
Harley- speaking of which I love the Humphries Corner outfit and I actually don't think it's too bad for the price considering what you get.
EA- remember that you only might be able to find out the sex! We were all set to find out, but baby was having none of it, and the sonographer won't spend much time on looking.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Dam i forgot H&M do baby stuff. will have to go a wander during the week. I hate shopping as well but i guess i will need to get used to it again [STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Thanks GISI. It is probably the best value outfit they have and the blanket will get plenty of use even when she has outgrown the clothes but I just couldn't help myself. There are some lovely dresses (I got a lovely summery one for Christmas - I'll put her in a long sleeved vest and matinee jacket that mum is knitting to make sure she is warm enough but I really loved that too) but they are all so expensive. I doubt MC will be getting anymore of my money once the vouchers have gone so I don't mind using them to get something a little bit special if I happen to see something.

Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j
Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09 :beer:0 -
Harley - that outfit is gorgeous. I hadn't thought about a going home outfit but as everyone else was having one, I thought I should. It's just a white velour sleep suit from John Rocha with a matching cardigan/jacket though so nothing too fiddly. Just nice and simple.
Aless - of course I am not offended. I want to take as little as possible. My list is based on advice from people here who have done it before, but everyone is different so it's hard to know what to take.
We are team yellow, and whilst it would be nice to get some stuff for boy or girl as there is so much more choice when you know, we have managed to pick up lots of nice sleepsuits etc. My understanding is that in the early days, babies don't like being dressed footered with, therefore I don't want anything too fiddly anyway, so happy enough with sleepsuits and vests for now. Got some nice stuff in Boots, Mothercare, Next, Tesco and Asda. Not tried H&M actually GISI (although I really don't need to buy anything else!).
I am 38 weeks today btw!! Woo hoo. Got midwife appointment tomorrow. Think I will pop into the doctors too as my heartburn is getting unbearable. I am constantly burping acid (lovely).
Harley - what was the name of the stuff you and WM (I think) got from the docs? Do you think it's made a difference (better than Gaviscon)? Ta.0 -
Maz - I got mine really early on. I went to my docs before I even had my booking appointment with the midwife, and doc arranged for it to be posted to me so I think I have had it from aroun 7 weeks! I think everyone is different depending on the area as usual though.
This goes for me, too. I got mine very early on, as I remember having a free dentist appointment before I'd even gone for the 12 week scan. I think if you go to your GP as soon as you think/know you are pregnant they can fill in the form for you if you ask.

Went over finances with OH this afternoon and I'm feeling better about how we will manage when my full pay stops. I'd like to do a couple of days a week working from home, as we are overpaying like crazy on the mortgage so we are MF when we want to move in the next couple of years, but I can't really decide if I can work from home or even put it to my office until I know if junior will be a good or grizzly babe.
Mum and dad have lent us a futon for the spare room, so we have a spare bed if baby cries a lot in the night and OH needs to sleep for work.
Realised I hadn't packed a t shirt to go with my tracksuit for coming home in!

Not much on TV tonight so I think I might head upstairs and have a bath and an early night.
Managed to make two big portions of curry for the freezer, and also a big vat of soup for this week when I don't feel like cooking. Quite enjoying my batch cooking at the moment and the freezer is getting nicely stocked up for when baby is here.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
