OMG I was very rudely awoken at 4:30am by fighting cats outside our window and couldn't get back to sleep. I could scream as I have to go to work and will be so tired later.
Fitzilian- he is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for the pics.
Tigster thank you for the update on Andrew. It sounds like he is making amazing progress so fingers crossed he will be home with you soon. Hope that your scar heals up nicely for you too.
Busy day today- work then doing a mystery shop then off for BP check with nurse.
On the aquanatal discussion, I would love to go but the one near me is 8-9pm on a Thursday which is just too late for me. Is that pathetic? I like to be in bed by about 9:30 as I get up at 5:30 for work. Will check it out when I'm on ML and can hopefully have a lie in the next day though.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Tigs, never really got to know you but congrats on little Andrew and well done to him for doing so well
Fitz - Alfie is absolutely gorgeous!
On aquanatal, I think they do it at my gym, well, I'm sure I've seen a group of pregnant women doing exercise in the pool before!! Will have to ask about it..
Just getting ready for my scan - so nervous I feel sick, silly really I only saw the little one last week but that stupid midwife has got me panicking. Will be back to update hopefully with lots of nice news

JUst have time for a quick post before brekkie. Parents coming around to help with the garden at 9ish.
For the last couple of nights I've had serious backache when I sleep on my side and there's too much pressure from baby to sleep on my back, not having a good time of it!
Got GP appointment this afternoon. Not sure why, they don't do anything different to the midwife, hopefully find out if head is engaged.
Beautiful pics, Fitz. He really looks like an Alfie!

Morning, am not sleeping great either, I seem to wake up half way through the night on my back unable to breath, not nice. Am propped up with pillows but somehow always manage to get onto my back!
Also have antenatal with the GP today, maybe its just a failsafe to see someone else incase the midwife is missing anything?? Who knows, the NHS is a mystery to me :rotfl:
Fitz- Little alfie is so cute especially the last pic.0 -
All work have to let you have the time off, its classed as antenatal care appointment
I find if you work in a job 5 days out of 7 rather than Mon-Fri, and therefore have interchangable days off, its very difficult to get paid time off for weekday appointments. Most employers in this type of situation will require you to schedule days off to fit in with your appointments rather than let you trot off during your working day. Something to bear in mind for those that do shop work etc0 -
csh - this is so true! My DH works like that and any time he has a doctor's appt or whatever, he's expected to schedule it for his day off during the week. Colossal PITA.
fitz - the photos are precious, thanks for sharing!
Tigs - thanks for popping on for the update. The pics of little Andrew are so cute!!
GISI - I totally understand...the aquanatal classes in my area are all in the evenings & I relish my dinner/relax before bed time way too much. Going to do some when on ML, but there's nothing near my work so for now it'll have to wait.
EA - you should come to London if you think Portsmouth prices are high. I can't even imagine paying £525 for ANYTHING, much less 2 bed!! We can't wait to move outta the city.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
