Woohoo thanks Glam, gonna tell OH he can zip it when I'm eating nuts now
Oooh babies that are wriggly are usually boys? Ours moved a little, had its hand in its face, then gave a bit of a kick...Im 100% convinced it's a little boy though OH isn't quite so sure. We had a name debate yesterday - he hates every name I come up with, I like Marlow, Xavier, Gabriel...or for a girl I adore Emmeline & Lucille, he thinks they're weird and thinks Alex is the perfect name for either sex!! Bless him, I can just imagine this poor baby having 4 names in the end as we won't agree!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Well I didn't take my own advice and dragged my butt to Lidl and Iceland, what a life of glamour I lead. I do feel much better for going out though and I got some bargains at both.
I know someone else on here is veggie (think it Helen) so thought I would share that Quorn mince and pieces are £1 a bag in Iceland. I bought a lot! Will be using them in my batch cooking when on ML. Just eating my lunch of soup then on to make a Shepherd's Pie for tomorrow. Haven't had one for ages but really fancy it.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Jillie - I see we started a trend on the first post - the girls on the parent thread have been posting about their first posts as well!
see, we are just the best!!hi jillie - we are banned from eviction thrapy until Tuesday. In fact thinking about it it's been awhile!!
Oh dear, I seem to be eating 2 custard creams
we have managed once a week (except when i was in hospital)
told DH better not set anything off cos he'll be in trouble.... he said eh just wants to meet baby! i said so am i but i can wait!!
only 2 custard creams!!! if i make a brew its gotta to be 4!! bought oreos in asda other day cos they were 2 packets for £1...and lovely all crushed into vanilla ice-cream......'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
nah!! i dont think it does make a difference tbh if they move or not....
its like the quizzes you can do on how you are feeling, colour of your wee etc to say of you are having boy or girl.
mind you i did a few of the gender predictors and they were all, (bar 1) correct!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend!
Escaping from the midday sun for a quick catch up but so much to read, I can´t remember all I was going to say now!! Congrats to Nes!
Visiting family in Spain and started my slightly longer than bank holiday weekend with the news that we´ve sold our flat on Friday morning and the offer on the house we want has now been properly acceptedso we´ll be busy when we get back on Wednesday! So very pleased now it´s less than 8 weeks til I start ML as we are going to need all that time to move I think!
Tried to upload pic DP took of me yesterday but I seem not to be allowed to so have made it my avatar instead - floating bump at 26+3 so have a good giggle everyone!
Catch up better next week!0 -
we said ours was a boy at nuchal scan because he was a PITA!!!
When the woman was scanning him he was still and then jumping everytime she tried to get a measurement, or he was rolling over and mooning her  This went on for 20 minutes!!!
Then when the consultant came in (a guy) he said 'Give it, to me.I'll get it straightaway'
and so baby went to sleep and refused to wake up for 10minutes - it was as if he was saying 'in your dreams mate' :rotfl:
So after the 30minutes we figured it had to be a boy - messing the woman and then putting 2 fingers up to the guy!
So, us September girls all have Christmas to blame. When did you March girls conceive? JuneMaybe it was the crap weather!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
i thought we were having a girl..... right up till DH said 'we're having a boy'
and that was with baby moving all the time when we went for scans'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Me and OH have been together just over 9 years, 8 of those living together and on the 17th September we'll have been married 5 years! I always said to myself I wouldn't do anything gross infront of him but I think within a year we were having farting competitions :rotfl:And it has never put him off me atall, he still fancies me rotten..much to my annoyance sometimes when he wants abit and I don't cos Ive a really low sex drive- just can't be bothered!!!
Gisi, yep,I'm a veggie too, thanks for the tip off on the quorn stuff cheap, I'll get freezer stocked up cos like you, when I finish work I plan on doing abit of batch cooking.
Just done aload of ironing and put another wash load on,still feel really fed up but yes, once my dad has gone tommorow I'm sure my mood will pick up. He isn't even here at the mo,he's in Leeds with his brother again, but coming back later on this aft to pack his bags ready to go in the morning :Tlove my little man he is amazing :j0
