Aww Harley, your Mum and Dad sound so lovely! And your nursery sounds fab too. I just love standing in our nursery and looking at all the baby things.
Thanks GISI - they really are fab. I was so worried they would never come round to the idea of baby but they are more than making up for it now. They are almost as excited as me. :j

Harely/GISI - hope you are both taking it easy and not overdoing it at work. Even having a sit down job can take its toll and be quite stressful at times so relax at the weekends!

Harley - I really have no idea what is causing the pain. I assume it's some sort of indigestion/heartburn related thing but I really can't describe how sore it is. Luckily it does seem to pass if I make myself sick or something (lovely!).

Have you packed your hospital bag yet? Lil Miss was asking about it earlier again I see. I tried to do mine again last night, but I just don't know where to fit everything. 2 towels and 2 packs of maternity pads, and my bag is full. It's ridiculous. It's the after labour bag that's the problem, and I have already jettisoned loads of stuff and made a spare bag for the car so only taking limited stuff with me! I don't want to arrive at hospital with 5 different bags!!!

We have another video, but its the baby facing the scanner. That one is a little creepy lol!

Looks like an alien, as we think the head is facing down slightly so it looks like it has a massive forhead/brain haha.

Afternoon everyone hope everyone is well.
Need to ask a question because i may have made a stupid mistake. Can you take to many vitamins? I couldn't remember if i took one this morning was sure i hadn't so i took one and now i think i had taken one earlier. would 2 make any difference or will it not really matter and i'm just a paranoid idiot with a bad memory.

Stress and pregnancy do not mix well.

Thanks to EA for the pics and welcome to the newbies.

Hope baby gets home soon NESSQUIC

Hope those are specific pregnancy vitamins - if so you will be fine. Im currently taking a multi-vit and 1,500mg of Calcium which is like twice the RDA.

    Morning Fitz

Up until today I've been getting loads of movement, not kicks like before - well not much - but proper rolling moves. Today she seems a bit sleepy, had a few moves when I first woke up but not a lot since. Think yesterday tired her out too.

Sorry to hear you are still getting that pain. I mentioned something similar to the midwife last week and she said that the muscle (uterus) is now in full stretch so if you do something, even a little movement, that stretches it further it will hurt. Do you think this could be what you have done?

Yippee, just got a gentle little nudge.

    xxx

I think I might have done this at the bottom of my bump it hurts!!!

I was just trying to identify what was what and I think he is turning around - am sure that as I felt across the top of my bump I could feel his spine  So he was laying across the top of my bump

At my nuchal scan they switched on the 3D scanner as we had been waiting soooooooooooooooooo long(and gave us free pics!!) - and they took a pic of bubs face on. Now that is scary and he does look like an alien.

I'll take a pic and upload it later. Very creepy!

Well, at least you can get rid of the pain, even if it is a bit grim to do it.

Bag is half packed, I have the same problem. I have an overnight bag, and a rucksack and both are half full just with clothes. I am hoping to stay in for 2 or 3 days, just to make sure that I know what I am doing, and that way I can only have visitors for 3 hours a day. But I need to take everything I'll need when I go in as it would be far too much hassle to ask someone else to come and get stuff for me. I hadn't even thought about taking towels until Glam mentioned it on her list earlier, thats the bags full then. Guess nappies and such like will just have to go in a shopping bag or something.

I will put some more stuff in the bag today and tomorrow and finish it off next weekend when I finish work. God, I really can't wait now. I am a Project Manager so I really only sit at a desk and make sure other people are doing what they are supposed to and on time so it is not too strenuous. The most stress involved is the two people I work with, I'm not that keen on either of them. However, the bigger team is fantastic and my new boss is brilliant too. Don't worry, I will be having a pretty easy week this week as most of my work has been handed over and I am just tidying up and making sure they are happy that I have told them everything.
