Grrr @ my naughty doggy, she's been stealing shoes from the shoe rack gradually for the last day or two and planting them in a huge hole she's created in the garden. So i have had to bid farewell to my favourite slippers and 2 pairs of cheap flats, aswell as DS's playing out shoes and almost his brand new Clarks  They're not too bad though, just muddy
So had to go to town and buy some new playing out trainers for DS, and he nagged me to buy some awful black and gold reebok, they're a bit like this but with slightly less white in them, it's a sad sign that he's getting older when he has a say in which shoes he gets :rotfl:. £13 from TJ Hughes.
So you remember how this bloke down the street changed my car battery? Well today he decides to ask me out, and says he wants to cook a meal for me  Ummmmmm... how awkward?! So after he sent me a creepy text with lots of flattery, i told him it was a bit inappropriate as i've only just broken up with someone and having a baby soon.
Some people are weirdddddd. I thought he was quite a decent guy but i could smell drink on him today and he got into his car  Nice!! :eek:0 -
Ah, Beenie. Lol. Try to take it as a compliment... though I'd be a bit wary of someone drink driving (in fact, I'm so against it I would have reported him to the police by now but that's cos I'm a bit strict on law breaking).
Wish I was still getting asked out, just for the ego boost - not cos I want a man in my life right now (actually ever given my appalling track record). At 5 months preg you should appreciate the sentiment even if not actually interested in the chap himself.

aw Beenie - whilst it wasn't welcome, how sweet. Did he already know you are pregnant?
Maybe he had a drink to pluck up the courage to ask you out - not that that's an excuse to drink and drive.

Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Well although i could smell it and to me it smelled fresh, i didnt like to say anything in case it was a morning after kind of thing, lol.
We bumped into other by chance, he was just going out as i was getting into the car so he came over and talked to me, and that's when i dropped it into the conversation that i was preg, in case he didn't already notice my big round bellyHe asked where dad is and i said he moved away for some space and doesn't appear to be coming back. I regretted saying it as soon as i said it, i don't like to say too much to people - but i'm no good at putting it into practice and end up blurting out too much!!
He said he's gonna service my car next week (well he saud that before asking me out:rolleyes:) Thing is when he asked me out i didn't say no outright, i just changed the subject, and only said what i said in a text - i'm such a coward.
I feel like i've betrayed the ex and i've done nothing wrong!!0 -
even if you go out with him, have rampant sex and live happily ever after you have NOT betrayed anyone. Your ex has made his choice and deliberately messed you around even with the baby involved so I hardly see that he would have much of a leg to stand on if he objected to you getting on with your life.
Obviously its up to you what you choose to do but do it because its what you want, not because of your ex.
P.S. I still think its sweet that he asked you out, takes a lot of bottle for most men.

we said ours was a boy at nuchal scan because he was a PITA!!!
When the woman was scanning him he was still and then jumping everytime she tried to get a measurement, or he was rolling over and mooning her  This went on for 20 minutes!!!
Then when the consultant came in (a guy) he said 'Give it, to me.I'll get it straightaway'
and so baby went to sleep and refused to wake up for 10minutes - it was as if he was saying 'in your dreams mate' :rotfl:
So after the 30minutes we figured it had to be a boy - messing the woman and then putting 2 fingers up to the guy!
So, us September girls all have Christmas to blame. When did you March girls conceive? JuneMaybe it was the crap weather!
I really dont think I have had the nuchal scanI was only in there for 10 mins, and she didnt mention it?
She had bother measuring him cos he wouldnt straighten out, but she didnt mention the nuchal scan?

you probably didn't. we paid private for ours so maybe baby was just making sure we got our money's worth :rotfl: He's his father's son!!
It tests for Downs and has to be done between 11 and 13 weeks - some hospitals do it routinely others don't. If you didn't have a blood test then you probably didn't have it.
Beenie - agree with harley! I'd make the most of someone else cooking and sod your ex!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Hi guys!!
Not been around for a while but I need some help!!
I have the aria twin+ pushchair and my changing bag wont fit on it. It has a long continuous bar to push with which is the problem.
Now at the baby show last year I saw a relaly lovely changing bag that didnt just have a handle as we know it - it also had two small handles at each end that were pres studs and designed to clip onto a long bar handle. Now this would be a way better story if I could remember the stall I saw it on - or even the name of the style of bag. AARRRGGGHHH I have looked everywhere online to no avail. Even on the distributors at the baby show. Do any of yu know what I am talking about?? I havent dreamt it I am sure of it.0 -
hi shelvis - no idea I'm afraid. Hope things are OK with you.
Why am I always thinking about my next meal?!
I feel like my throat's been cut! Have been naughty and had a cherry bakewell (only an ickle one) but I just want my tea now - spag bol and garlic bread but I want it now!
Problem is I'll be hungry again by 7pm!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
