Were semi detatched so only have the one side to really worry about, and hubby has already warned them that we are hoping for a homebirth!
When I had ds, we lived somewhere else, I had him at home and the next day hubby was out in the back garden pegging the washing out..next door neighbour saw him pegging baby clothes and blankets up and realised he had been born..she was shocked to hear I'd had him at home-she had heard loud noises:o but thought we were having a party :rotfl:lol yeah, what a great party that was :rotfl:
love my little man he is amazing :j

she is having an elective section to fit round the footy, there was a bit of hoo har in the papers so a ggogle will give u the snaswer I'm sure

hmm I seam to have lost a quote.. anyhoo
someone mentioned waiting around for the placenta (where are you planning on going straight after birth? lol), I've had both a natural (with Ed) and active (with Chris) 3rd stage The active one was traumatic; the injection stung to boogery and MW jabbed me with it when I wasn't expecting it so I nearly jumped off the bed in shock :rotfl: They pull on your cord like an abseiler and I've heard stories of them snapping the cord by doing that _pale_
With Ed I hardly noticed how long it took (about 30mins according to notes) I was too busy BFing him and staring at him in my exhausted soppy state :p
The MWs I had were really supportive and said they prefer to let the cord stop pulsating before clamping etc as I hadn't decided 100% beforehand.
My birth plan was read and discussed with me at both births so don't assume it'll be ignored and frankly any MWs that don't read yours (unless its an emergency so no time) isn't doing their job properly
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
