That money means I can stay off for 9 months - it tops up my SMP so that I can afford to live. It's funny because before I found out I was pg I was overdrawn every month!

I've managed to save £3k since January (which has included the HiPG, working overtime, being more MSE) :j and also paid my Dad back a bit of what I owe him!

Am hoping to save a decent amount this month as well as I will use my ASDA vouchers when we do ASDA shop I think.

Where does the time go?

    My new birth plan:

    • Make it quick :rotfl:
    • Stitch me nicely
    • Don't shout at me for being a wimp :o
They gave me pethidine to shut me up with DS, but it didn't kick in til shower afterwards, which was an experience. But they gave me it when they thought i couldn't possibly be in that much pain after only 30 mins of pain actually starting. She then finally checked me & i was 10cm dilated so said "oh no wonder you've been making a fuss"
I got told off for shouting/screaming/grunting during pushes too lol!! "If yu're shouting you're not putting all your energy down to your bum"

Everything that i have read says that grunting or mooing can actually help with the final stage as it relaxes the throat and jaw and apparently if they are relaxed then you will automatically relax down below. Mind you i got told off for grunting too when i had my first one if looks could have killed that midwife would have been six foot under :rotfl:

I plan on singing through them this time so i appologise in advance for any adverse weather we get hehe ;-) x

When we went for hospital tour we expected lots of grunting and moaning and there was nothing - silence! Was a bit eerie!!!

Your going to be in a relatively new unit arent you Glam. I think they make allowences now for the noise when building, our new unit you can hear a pin drop in the hallways it is kind of freaky. As i'm staying at home though its only my poor neighbours who will suffer i think i will have to get them a nice bottle of wine for after :-) x
