BF - Thanks to all the girls who have come over to post about BF. When the BF MW came out I was so glad that she gave me sooooooooooooooo much information like baby won't feed much in the first 24hrs and that then the 2nd night will be horrendous cos they will be starving (she said this is when most mums give up because they do want to feed like every 2 hours).
If I hadn't known those 2 small facts then I probably would have fallen at the first hurdle!!

I am hopeful that I can BF but if I can't I won't feel bad about FF - and if I can BF then I know I can jump on the Parent Thread and make the most of the wisdom on there :D

Fitza - OMG :j:j:j:j:j Good luck and easy labour vibes coming your way!!

    EA - Congrats on 12 weeks :j:j:j:j:j

Helen - you are so sweet looking at for the pads for me :D
I have found a seller who says that their pads are compatible with the boots machine and they are a fiver

Yay to all those finishing work today (start of August bank holiday and it's lashing it down!)

ASDA Baby Event - I've got the Graco Highcahir for £25, TT CTN electronic steam sterilser (Should have been £25 but I went at the end of teh event and got it for £12.50), TT CTN Breast Pump (should have been £15 but got it for a fiver!) :money:

Stuff normally clears out pretty quickly, I think I was mega lucky to get the stuff I did at half the offer price!

    Morning ladies,

Good luck Fitz - hope everything goes smoothly for you. V exciting!!

ML and Jam - enjoyr your last day at work and don't get too stressed trying to fit everything in! Then go home and relax!

Bear - hope you enjoy your leave too.

EA - congrats on being 12 weeks. Hope your scan goes well tomorrow too!

Kindof - I am exactly the same. OH was breastfed, I was bottle fed. And I have always been healthy etc but OH definitely wants me to breastfeed. As it's meant to be best for baby, I will definitely try it and have read lots of good advice on the problems that can come with it, but if I can't overcome the problems or don't feel comfortable, I will change to formula.

Sami - thanks for info on Asda baby event and on nappies. I only have the Huggies starter pack, but interesting to know they are smaller than Pampers.
The main reason I don't want to buy too many is that everyone seems to have different preferences so would rather try out a few and see what I and baby likes before stocking up.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I love the big bang theory as well, lol and I Have every episode of the new series of reaper on sky+ I havent watched them yet lol

Do you all reccommend going to a huge ASDA for the event?

Its 3:20pm :D I wrote it on my calender on my laptop, even though i have had the day and time memorised since she told me :rotfl:

The reaper series is good, i've managed to watch every episode cause everytime its been on im either on an early at work, have the day off, or am sick lol.

We have a huge ASDA here but its a train ride away. Unless i get my lovely daddy to drive me up in his big car :)
The local asda to me is quite big, but not as big as the big asda :D

A few of my friends have played hide and seek whilst drunk in the big asda :rotfl:

Did your OH cry at the scan? Im hoping mine does, he's only cried once in our whole relationship. Hopefully this gets him going lol.

    xx

EA - my OH got emotional but didn't cry. The best was the 31 week growth scan when baby had hiccups and we could see him jerking about! We both went all gooey and then when he did the classic OH waking up thing of having a big stretch with one eye open and one eye closed we were like 'OMG, he's just like his Dad!!!'

Cool thanks, I shall have to tell OH about this, do they have nappies and all that on offer as well?

I dont even know what the normal price is for nappies so I dont know if its a good deal?

Fitzio - exactly I have told OH that, I will try, cos I think I want to, but if it doesnt work out then he's not to say anything cos I think I will feel guilty anyway

EA - Cool!!!!! Are you going to post your pics? I will log on ASAP to see them, Yeah my mam loves it, so she told me the new series was on, I am off all next week and Sky+ is kinda full so I need to watch them really lol
He didnt he was just staring at it in amazement! I had one tear roll down my cheek, OH has only cried twice in our relationship, I thought he would cry yesterday

Glam - Awww thats so sweet, OH thinks we are having a boy, cos we think babybean has his arm up over his ear? and thats how OH sleeps lol

Kindof - they normally do big boxes of nappies and wipes for cheap. Might be worth a look now to see how much they are and then compare when event starts.

At my 13 week Nuchal Fold scan - hands where both on head - looks very weird when it's in 3D!!!!

Nanc - I get a lot of pressure 'down there' but am 36 weeks - feels like he's trying to punch his way out :rotfl:
Sometimes he is pushing on my bladder so much I can't even feel my pee coming out when I go (very weird feeling).
At my scan last week she could get a good pic because his head was right against my bladder so there was a shadow over his face.

    hiya again ladies.

Well just ventured to matalan to get OH a suit for the court next week. he is gonna look really smart. Had to force myself not to go near the baby clothes whilst there ive bought way to many already hehe.

Nanc, Glam i have the pressure to sometimes feel like i need a wee so i go but nothing happens i swear he keeps moving down at night as well can feel him pushing against my cervix i dont think he is engaged yet but they can go down and come back up. I certainly think he is in for the duration after the couple of false alarms we have had he seems quite content at the moment just hope i dont go over now :-) x
