I know - it is very scary!
Can't believe that so many of us joined back in late Jan/early Feb when we got our BFP's and it's now almost September!!!
Re the actual pg test - it was only 5 mins cos I walked away and left it!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I have 2 hooded towels too! Got plenty of towels as wedding presents last year though so have some nice fluffy white ones that will do baby too.
Glam - what's your baby's going home outfit like?
Beenie - glad you got your Gaviscon.
From ASDA baby event last time, I got the Johnsons box (which is smallish, but looks nice!), TT Microwave Steriliser with bottles, a couple of outfits and some wipes I think. I wanted a breast pump, but i am reluctant to bother until I have worked out if it's any good for me or not.
Has anyone used breast pumps before? I know there is the manual TT one in the Asda event which is a good price and tempting, but other people swear by the electric Medula one (think it was Mrs T) which is more expensive but she felt it was worth the extra. Any recommendations?0 -
Pregancy test - we tested one night, and the line was really really faint and we took it as a negative. But a couple of days later and no period, OH went and bought more. Tested and after a couple of minutes it looked positive, but still a bit faint! Think we did 2 more that night and 1 the next morning to make sure, and it was stronger then.0

The concentration of Hcg (pg hormone) is strongest in the morning althou I tested after work!
I have the manual breast pump - figured I might as well spend a fiver and if I can't BF then it can go on ebay. The Medula one is like £90 and yes it was MrsT.
Hooded towels - I have 2 but planned to just use normal towels
Going home outfit - can't find a link to it.
It's a Winnie the Pooh suit (with no feet), a gorgeous Winne the Pooh cardi with booties that say I love Mummy on one and I love Daddy on the other. Oh and a Winnie the Pooh hatA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Aww, that sounds gorgeous. Not decided what to use as going home outfit yet! Not like we are going to get papped on the way out of the hospital or anything, but I suppose they should look nice for their first outing!! ha ha.
Maybe this from M&Ps as it's lovely and soft and was the first thing I bought for baby? Or also have a nice white velour John Rocha sleepsuit. And I suppose it depends how cold it is, but my mum bought us a lovely pram suit from M&S (but think it might be better on a very cold day!). I can't wait lol.0 -
Trying to type through tears so excuse any typo's.
The docs for my sis was a complete waste of time, 6 weeks of sheer hell thinking that this would be the last hurdle for help but no it was far from it. She was in and out in less than an hour and is in a worse state thanks to his bad attitude. Back to square one with no help. trying to research help but may have to leave it till i'm more composed.
On a good note got my emergency appointment for the hospital though...........15th sept thank god it's not a non emergency appointment or i'd be taking the baby in a pram to it.lol[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
