Another 2 notebooks received in the last week!

When you are asked to say yes/no for "Is there a CBC code next to the address?". Do you only reply yes if it matches the one on their site and is actually on the letter?

I have received items which have similar codes printed on the envelope - these are not the RM ones which are longer.

What do the notebook come in. Are they like packets? Would not mind getting some of them. :)

I think the CBC codes on the page are a example as mine on the page are all the same.

The notebooks I have received are about the size of a small school excercise book and have squared pages....good for shopping lists etc.

Usually they are received in envelopes where you might normally receive a policy booklet or similar inorder to fill the envelope out...

I only put yes if there is a code actually next to the address. It is usually similar to the one on the website and is not the long one that is often at the top of most letters but not near the address.

A CBC is the Customer Bar Code, it'll be printed on the letter inside the envelope so that it can be read through the window, and denotes your postcode. You can read about them on wikipedia here (in fact the example on wikipedia looks to be the same as the example on my Quotas page.) Quite interesting! I'm pretty sure the example on the site is just an example and won't be your actual postcode, so just look for something similar.

Oh, and remember a fortnight ago I wasn't in to receive delivery of a box, and didn't know what date to put as the received date - the first date or the second date when it was redelivered? I emailed to enquire and have now received two replies. In the first the nice lady wasn't sure what I was on about receiving a box, so I had to explain that the welcome letter did say we might receive a box or two each year. She then replied to say that in the instance where you have to have an item redelivered you should put the first attempted delivery date. So they had to update the record cos I'd put the date it actually came through my front door!

Thanks for this information Pomdren - I hadn't thought to search for information on the CBC.
