stuck around house clearning up some admin and waiting for the heating engineer today. Jeans, grey dress over (jeans re a bit too loose for this to really work though, got folds under the dress) black flats, black cardigan. Opal ear studs, wedding ring, grey M&S sunglasses , earlier this year, about £10 I thin, but very, very good glasses.

Fabulous boots!!! They're beautiful, can see why you're hooked lol.

NL have some great clothes at the moment! There's a brown boyfriend cardie in the sale for £12 if anyone's a size 10 or 12.

I also spotted a purple bodycon dress for £8, but think it might be a tad too muttonish for my advancing years :rolleyes:.

Might have a look at the brown cardi, not that my cardi drawer isn't overflowing anyway..But yeah, want the boots..Not top of my priorities list tho, but if I can still afford them at the end of the month after all the boring expenses such as eating etc, they shall be mine..

Ooh pretty!

I seem to be having clothes based issues at the moment, I'm really struggling to find anything like other than basics - winter kick starts my full on jumper and jeans/skirt and boots addiction so I've stocked up on lovely soft new jumpers to wear.

To that end, ladies (and any gents), I need your opinions - would you say that this is an acceptable outfit to wear for afternoon tea at a hotel in Covent Garden, bearing in mind that the dress code is 'smart casual'?

- Purple V neck jumper
- White vest top or T shirt under jumper
- Purple and white striped knee length skirt
- Brown mid calf boots
- Black tights (if it's cold)

I may have to do some last ditch shopping this afternoon or tomorrow morning but this is my back up outfit, so do you guys think it'll be OK?

It's so cold here today... my desk heater has been on since 9am and won't go off 'til 5.30!
