  • Oh thank you Daisy for alerting me to the Alice in Wonderland palette. I would never normally part with so much money for eyeshadow but I only own about 3 and want to experiment more - I was looking at individual eyeshadows and they're not cheap are they? And it's a pretty box! I can't wait for the film.

I spent a huge amount of money in H&M in Brighton yesterday but I just bought loads and loads of basics, vests and t shirts mainly, and 3 cardigans. It doesn't sound very exciting does it? I sometimes scare myself with too many colours and patterns as I tend to use bags with prints on so the plain bits should do me through to next autumn at least.

And I love Grease, Olivia Newton-John was my idol when I was little!

Hope you are all having a good day. I got a text off an ex yesterday, why can't they just let things lie? It has sort of upset me but I am going to curl up and be nice to myself this evening once DS is in bed. :D

rainbow- I think buying basics IS exciting, haha, with a good stock of those you can create so many looks :)

Urban Decay is verry expensive. I normally buy cheap through outlet shops (we have one in this town that sells discontinued colours) or ask for bits as presents, or save for months on end!

*hugs to you for stupid ex upsetting you*

    Could do,
idk if it's worth all the hassle lol. I will probably end up keeping it because I am lazy :p

LOL, that's why my wedding dress is still hanging up!
  • Thank you :) I know I am better off without but you know...

I live in a teeny tiny town. It is all expensive gift shops (bad) and charity shops (good) - though I'm not that good at rummaging. I must perfect my technique.

When you all paint your nails do you do it to match an outfit?? I rarely paint mine because I get fed up with the chips but I want to start prettying myself up a bit more. I got some from Barry M as I have seen a lot of you championing it.

Fingers crossed no one gets snowed in (again!) - it's been raining here all day.

Nope, I paint my nails to match my mood, they rarely match anything I wear! Mine need re-doing actually, something bright now work is over till next weekend.

My toe nails are currently "For Audrey" by China Glaze, I love it (it was a christmas present from my Mum!)

Sorry to hear about the ex-texting, try to ignore it xo

I like buying basics - as daisybella says, they can be used to build a huge number of outfits! :j I sometimes find it hard to get really good basics e.g. I have been searching forever for a decent BF cardi but can I find one? Not yet! If I could I would have about 7 new outfits instantly. I love pretty patterned stuff too, so I need the basics to go with them!

p.s. where is Grease on and why am I not watching it???

  • Ooh very nice Daisy - I am not brave enough yet. All my nail varnishes are variations between burgundy and pink. You lot really are making me think twice though. Thank you :D I've never really got on with my "inner female" before but it feels time ...

Yeah, I never match my nails to my outfit either, more my mood. I wish I could afford better nail varnishes right now, the China Glaze looks fabulous...
