    Afternoon ladies,

We've got snow today so it's back to Winter again after yesterday's Spring like weather.

Goanmad, I loved your outfit from yesterday, you look lovely.
You're so lucky having jumble sales to go to. I'm sure though that you'll find 11 shift dresses is too much for one person, so give me the nod if you're getting rid of any ;)

Afternoon, lovely people and thanks for your kind words, Daydreambeliever! I'm going to trial all the dresses and eliminate what doesn't feel good.

I've been cutting wallpaper to size and attempting to sort out my ever-expanding wardrobe but the over indulgence from last night is distracting me and I need a bowl of spicy curry noodles to sort me out.

Shame you couldn't find the boot sale, Vicki. No chance of one here as the snow was really deep this morning. The season will get underway properly in another month or so, it's mainly market traders round here which is great if you want bin bags or socks.

I shall attempt to catch up with last night's gossip later. I'm liking the sound of childhood outfits. Mum's always been a cool dresser and dressed me likewise, my outfits were bizarre but fun - vintage kimonos, satin jumpsuits, altered fifties prom frocks and 60's go-go dresses. Used to cause quite a bit of interest on non-uniform days at school.;)

Ahoy everyone, just on lunchtime break at our thinking day service, yday was a mad rush and then discovered no 3g signal at patents house, but was so tired I was in bed by 10!
Have read back but can't check links..kids clothes were never too bad IMO based on the fact I would still be happy enough to wear most now..

Today's outfit is my new pink girlguiding centenary polo shirt (nerd, I know :p )
    grey knee high boots
grey skirt with skull print on, h&m
    floral cardi, new look
    pink bangle, primark
    silver cardi, primark

so much snow this morning, was quite exciting!
And I'm having a good day, as I've managed to keep track of my guides all morning and not lose any..
  • This isn't exactly a childhood outfit but it was a nightmare.
When I was about 10 my mother decided I should have my hair permed. I didn't want to as I had thoughts of old-lady-tightly-permed hair, but was assured it would be gentle waves.
I don't know if the hairdresser forgot about me or what, but not only did I come out with burns on my head, but it was the tightest perm you have ever seen!
And it went frizzy as well. I cried my eyes out.

A few years later and afro styles were all the rage, but not then.

I'm just back from my walk, can't believe so many of you have snow when its quite mild here!
Still feeling really kind of ... out of sorts, I think best describes it. Still. Popped in to Tesco and treated my parents to some chocolate and myself to a big litre bottle of diet pepsi as it's on offer at 65p and is something I crave but dont have often :)

Going to forget course work for today and just focus on chilling out instead.
  • sounds like a good plan Daisy :) Sundays are for chilling, well in my book anyway
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

get thee to a Tesco if you have one nearby! Haha. I am planning on stocking up when I do the food shop with my Mum tomorrow, one large bottle lasts me a week so I'm saving quite a lot if I get say, five, at 65p :D
  • Hello

Sounds like everyone is having a much more positive and happy day than we have of late.

I've just made some Pear and Walnut muffins, they are gorgeous!

Today I have worn blus skinny jeans, white long sleeve t shirt and this tunic that I usually wear with black leggings and t shirt.

Caroline, recipe please! Those muffins would make a perfect gift for someone I know :)

Also, I really love that tunic, I haven't shopped from Joe Brown's in ages but do love looking at their stuff :)
