  • Good luck for your daughter Mariel.

I've just run a bath and lit lots of candles. So I'll just poor me a drink and sink in.
  • Good luck to your daughter, Mariel.
If she has had experience with them before, I'm sure she'll be fine.

Daisybella, are you sure you want to sell your prom dress, it isn't an impulse decision?
I just know with some of my clothes that they are part of a happy memory iykwim, and couldn't part with them, mainly because i'm just really sentimental.

Suprisingly I get along really well with cream eyeshadows, well the ones that I have tried - Bourjois...

Prom dress, yes I'm sure. It's lilac and sliver strapless and was slightly too big for me at the time,
I'm honestly never going to wear it again, and probably it's going to be a good few years before it'd even fit me. It has no real fond memories attatched and is just taking up space...
I will be thinking about it for a few weeks yet, I think, I'm not in a desperate rush.

Ladies, hope you are well today.
A question for you Boot Sale experts.

There's a local boot sale running today and next Sunday as a one off.
It's drizzling with rain, would it be worth going?
I dunno if I want to get wet that much either!
    xx

I'm no expert but surely if the weather is a bit rubbish and people are put off going, you stand a better chance of being able to bag a bargain or two?

I'm back, I couldn't even find it! It wasn't where I thought it was and after driving aroiund for ages I had to give up and come home, tail between legs!

    What a pain Vicki!

Finally dressed, have been up since 6am, though slept better again (I'm putting this down to the mug of horlicks I enjoyed last night thanks to Mariel :D)
    Wearing;

Floral black/green/purple vest tunic: New Look via a friend who works there and gives me her old "uniform"
Lightwash denim dress: Gap via ebay
    Raspberry coloured tights: New Look
    Grey/white cardigan: Primark

Not sure what to do with myself today, feel really anxious and agitated about something I can't quite put my finger on,
weather looks promising so I will probably take a short walk this afternoon and see if that clears my head,
probably crack on with some course work too.
  • Morning All!

That sucks vicki that you made the effort for nothing!
Glad you slept well daisy, just read your blog today and it really made me smile... sometimes it is the little things you need to acknowledge for making you happy!

Not even dressed yet as I've been doing housework this morning. Will post later once I'm organised.

    morning everyone,

Shame about the boot sale vicki :(

Wasn't online much yesterday and I was up at 4.45am to get ready to travel down to London for the day to visit friends, was shattered when I got back. I didn't post my outfit yesterday on blog but I wore something I felt comfortable in - my star printed dress, with my skinny jeans and a trusty cardi.

Today I'm still sitting around in my pj's and dressing gown, we've had snow here so I doubt I'll be going anywhere so don't know what I'll be wearing yet.

Feel v tired still prob something comfy to sit around catching up with blogs etc
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

  • Afternoon ladies,

We've got snow today so it's back to Winter again after yesterday's Spring like weather.

Goanmad, I loved your outfit from yesterday, you look lovely.
You're so lucky having jumble sales to go to. I'm sure though that you'll find 11 shift dresses is too much for one person, so give me the nod if you're getting rid of any ;)
