  • Just wanted to say getting properly dressed yesterday was appreciated by DH, if not the puppies ;). He said I looked really great, so wearing the same this evening to meet a friend.

I will catch up on Monday...

Assuming you meant the dogs didn't appreciate your clothes, I'm sure DH appreciated your puppies.

Been away from here for a few days as my Nana passed away in the early hours of tuesday so been a bit up and down but have decided for the funeral I will be wearing my IC harsh leopard print boots as she loved animal print and would appreciate it.

really sorry to hear about your loss. I think it's a great idea to wear your leopard skin boots, I once went to a funeral where all the women had to wear brights and the men had to wear hawaiian shirts. I'm going to make everyone wear stilletto heels to my funeral.

I found a photo from when I was about 8, I was a real tomboy back then. I was rocking neon orange polyester shorts with a Lime green sports tee. I looked like a radioactive carrot.

I remember about that age I was into Wham:o at the time, I wore at Christmas a cerise knit skirt, with cerise shirt, black pretend leather elasticated tie, black belt around the shirt and matching cerise and black wham scarf, sporting nice bob with big bowly fringe:rotfl::rotfl:

Its all coming back like a horrible nightmare
  • I had royal blue chunky cords from Benetton that cost a fortune at the time. I remember outgrowing them but my mum still made me wear them as they were so expensive.

I also went through a brief goth stage, old style goth, none of this newfangled emo nonsense!

Who's old enough to have gone out in public wearing a fame/flashdance style outfit - oversized sweatshirt, legwarmers etc?

No fame style here (though my Mum has confessed to it!)

I have no photos of me in leggings thankfully, but loads of dodgy photos in my teens. I am old enough to remember owning electric blue shiny leggings and wearing them with pink legwarmers!!! Oh disaster.

I had those black shoes with the bottle tops on the laces ala Bros and illuminous socks *the shaaaaame!* i owned a sweater shop jumper at more than one point in my childhood.....

then when I went through the grunge phase (at 17) it was all unwashed hair mens workshirts , tartan tights and 18 hole dm's......but thats kinda cool- well except for the unwashed hair...I even had the ultimate accessory a boyfriend with pink hair lol
