Lola, sorry to hear about your Nan, I'm sure the IC shoes will be perfect. I always find black head to toe is so depressing and unneccessary at funerals. Your jumble haul sounds amazing x

I had a couple of reversible jumpers and padded jeans and I was such a skinny child but looked sooooo fat in them! Cruel I think, They should never make a come back!

Magpye - I can't imagine such an outfit - I get really panicy if I wear tight clothing, I can just about handle wearing my wetsuit as I know it's essential but can't see how you'd feel comfy.
What is it that you exercise in it - does it serve a purpose - Sorry I'm just horrified and curious at the same time!

Heehee! Vicki, I'm a weight training fanatic and the tight clothing A) Stops you getting caught up in the machines and free weights (and believe me there is nothing more terrifying than getting your collar caught when doing lat pull downs) and B) Lets you check you're maintaining good form and posture at all times, which is impossible in baggy clothes - there's a reason beyond vanity that bodybuilders wear those tight muscle tees! I also prefer the tight clothes while kickboxing; as I said, I have a nasty habit of getting my feet tangled in my hems otherwise, although admittedly I don't need the leotard for that. Hmm.

You're right though, it's a pretty horrific outfit fashion-wise, particularly as I am at the moment!

Oh no I didn't mean horrifying in that way Magpye! I was thinking all the tightness would probably make me pass out - I fainted having a mud body wrap as it was tight and I probably hyperventilated!

Hope you didn't think I was being a cow xx

Thanks for explaining about your weight training, I can see why a baggy T-shirt might not be adequate!!

:p It's okay Vicki, I didn't take any offence, and bless you, I didn't think you were being nasty at all. (Besides, I've had years to toughen up after my Dad decided to compare my @r53 in motion to 'a sideways hippo chewing a caramel'!!!)

I don't have time to read back girls, I'm so sorry to be rude.

Just wanted to say getting properly dressed yesterday was appreciated by DH, if not the puppies ;). He said I looked really great, so wearing the same this evening to meet a friend.

I will catch up on Monday...

lola - sorry to hear about your loss :( I think wearing those amazing boots is perfect.

I'm just loafing around in tshirt and jeans today as I haven't done anything except nip to the library. Currently working my way through a hilarious cd of photos - my dad's been on a mission to scan all the slides that belonged to the grandparents. I was such an unfashionable child :rotfl:

Oh Alex, my grandparents love to dig out the old photos and videos they have of us grandkids. I wore some truly unfortunate things!

    Thanks everyone!!!

Alex I love looking back at the pics and often wonder what my two will say about their outfits as they get older. As a child I was always dressed in v girly things, and had hand knitted cardis in every style and colour there was:o
