Morning all,
retro, I'm kind of glad that we don't have snow here, the lot in January was bad enough, the whole town was completely cut off... it was on the news and everything.
nici, have fun at work if that's posible...
PF, take it easy, your body will tell you if it needs sleep... or food. I obviously didn't eat enough yesterday (tea was a very poor show, just a baked potato, DH was in late and wasn't that hungry) and woke up at twenty-to five with growly tummy pains, so I had to get up and have some milk and a wee snack
just to tide me over. Come breakfast time I was ravenous AGAIN. Just had a Horlicks and some toast and might have to have a poach around to see what else there is! The strange thing is I *never* eat during the nights, so I'm not used to it lol.
And I'm still in bed. Bless whoever invented wifi."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

hi
please can someone help me.... I'm trying to find out what the Image Therapy session involves in other groups.... I have been a SW member for a few weeks, and the session at my group is pretty much just detailing everyone's results for the week, and if it's bad explaining why, and if it's good, asking if we're happy etc... I had really hoped it would be more informative and would be a time to share tips etc. so I just wondered if other peoples experience is different?
thanks

Mrs H is this on the right thread?
When I went to Sw it was the same as you described...my leader also gave us advice on free foods etc at the end of this and we were encouraged to take in free/low syn food to show the group.**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -

just wondering if anyone has seen this in their New Look?

It isn't in any of the shops I've been to and I really want to see it in person to see whether it's just a long length top, or if it'd be ok as a dress on me. It looks quite long in the photo but that doesn't mean anything.
I haven't seen it but you could wear it with leggings as a top but it would have a dress like quality IYKWIM.
Today I'm wearing
skinny blue jeans
pale green patterned silk Gharani Strok blouse
long pearls
biker boots and blazer when I went out, pink Totes toasties when indoors.
Jumble sale was disappointing only two tables of clothes, the rest was books and crockery. I did pick up 2 tops a brown wraparound and pink dressy top from whistles which I'm going to put on ebay, I also got a red skater style dress which I think will probably be too small now I've got it home. Only 20p each so I'm not too worried.
I visited the Chazza's on the way home and bought a pair of new red pumps and a red trench coat so pleased with those. I saw a pair of Bally patent shoes which I thought were too expensive at £5 but I keep thinking about them so might go back on Monday.0 -
Oh Caroline, that sounds like a sucess to me! I'd be happy just finding one thing. And I love the sound of your Chazza bits, I love red!
Day two of the Jeggings Challenge and I'm wearing:
Navy floral dress,
teal long sleeved T shirt
Teal tights
Brown long heeled boots
Chunky brown/grey cardi
Beads in Teal, Purple and Bottle Green.
Was rushing around to get ready so forgot about any other jewellery.
Been into the market for some bits from the haberdashery stall, got a few bits but not the buttons I wanted.
Will update blog later.0 -

OMG! I had a pair of these in the 80's (baggier at the waist, tapered at the ankle obviously) with a matching box jacket. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sounds hideous but all my friends coveted the outfit.0 -

As for the top/dress, I was hoping I could wear it with tights rather than leggings so would want it to be at least mid-thigh length to wear with boots. I'm not sure I could pull off the long top and leggings look, I think I'm too long for it so it would look like a tall person trying to wear a short person's dress badly, iyswim

I like them too. They'd look like canned !!! (alternative word for donkey) on me, but I do like them. If you can get away with it, more power to you.
Onto today's outfit (yeuch):
White cotton workout trousers.
Coral puff hem training top.
Multi coloured ankle socks.
In my defense I have been doing kickboxing, but I think I need nicer exercise clothes - I have a £25 voucher for La Redoute, so off to spend it. I'll dress up this afternoon once I feel up to it.
