I have a big book my parents made me for my 21st, This is Your Life stylee... it's not too embarrassing yet, or is it?! And did anyone else have one of those colour changing t-shirts? I used to wear mine for gym class.

Was going to spend tonight uploading some photos of friends to Facebook but the stupid photo uploader isn't working. Rarrgh, grrr. Also heard word of a rumour that the firm who made me redundant have now gone into liquidation... schadenfreude is such an ugly emotion... :-/"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
We went through a tomboy phase at primary school - inspired by wanting to be George from The Famous Five I think.
Used to go into the newsagents and the man would say 'What can I get you, son?'!!
Can't imagine being chuffed if that happened now!

Ohhh my Mum has just reminded me I begged her for a pink and purple shell suit aged five.
And was overly attatched to a pair of turquoise leggings with skiing penguins printed on them.0 -
I can remember the colour changing tshirts but that was one fashion trend I seem to have missed out on.
So does that mean you won't get any redundancy payment Magpye? this has happened to me before and although it wasn't a huge amount its v v annoying to put it mildly!!!!0 -

Where do I start?
Until I was in high school my mum dressed me in boy clothing that she could then hand down to my brother, plus I had short hair all the time as Mum couldn't be bothered to dry and style it long. (I know what she means my hair is hard work) I had kids at new schools alway ask me if I was a boy or a girl
Fashion disasters of my own doing include:
Rock hard moussed perm - dyed black
Global Hypercolour - I loved these, I had Purple/pink and green/orange
Bolt jeans (ridiculously baggy with drawstring at the ankle)
Spliffy tops
The Sweater Shop jumpers (had 3/4 and wore them everyday)
Shiny lycra cycling shorts with my Mum's T-shirts in every colour going
I braided my hair and had beads at the end (probably to go with the spliffy top)
I had a big undercut, shaved off hair up to about ear level.
Oh no, I could go on forever!0 -
Ahh the good old days, eh?0
