I just got a copy of Stylist mag with the Urban Decay Alice eyeshadow palette and hubby says I can spend the house keeping on it! Woo hoo! Jacket spuds and beans all week.
I want this palette so so badly! I'm thinking of asking my parents to order it and put it away for my Birthday in April :A
Still feel rough this morning, achey kidneys too, so must pick up some cranberry juice I guess.
Wearing:
nude/beige pretty floaty top: topshop/ebay via a lovely mse'er
straight leg light wash jeans: urban outfitters sale (£4.99 down from something insane like £89)
pink socks, lol: primark
blue and white polka dot apron for baking: blog contest win
Have to nip to Tesco between baking and decorating for aforementioned juice, plus something food-ish for today and some liquid glucose for sticking down edible glitter,
so will add
floral lace up pumps: peacocks
cardigan: primark
snood, coat, gloves, brolly

I'm considering dying my hair dark pink again, I use a proper pink dye over not completely bleached out hair and it goes really dark pink (like burgundy but less red) which shines bright under a light. It's horrid at the moment, grown out almost black on the ends and dark plum for about 2 inches on the root area. What I really want to do is dye the whole lot dark green but at 42 and living in the smallest town imaginable I'm not brave enough. Any opinions? If you haven't seen me then my blog (which I promise to update with my favourite shoes at the earliest opportunity) is linked from here.
If it makes you happy go for it life is too short to worry about what other people think- I think that colour would look fab on you

I was various shades of pink for a while when I was younger, I could never get it how I wanted.
There is a girl in a shop in a nearby town who has the most amazing hair, blocks of pink, and green, and blue and purple and gold and white, in almost everyshade, bu clearly defined in irregular blocks, it looks like feathers of a strange and beautiful bird.
while I'm tempted to say do what you want, I also live in a world where our decisions do have ipacts...any employers etc to mind?0 -
Ohh green would be lovely on you Mariel!
lir - are we allowed to be nosy and ask what the good news is?
daisy - happy baking!
Not entirely sure about today's outfit, think it's a bit too black - I'll whack some photos on the blog later and if you've got any suggestions, do let me know
Long grey slashed jumper - Dotty P
Black long sleeved tshirt underneath - ditto
Black leggings - M&S
Black cowboy boots - Evans
Then due to a raid on Grandma's jewellery box, a vintage marcasite and silver ring and a silver chain link necklace.0 -
Oooh so far so good, I've just taken two perfectly cooked cakes from the oven

That sounds like good news, Lost.
I think I've just about caught up with yesterday's posts.
It seems very sad that so many of you young, lovely girls have such insecurities. Life's just too short to dwell on things that cannot be changed, make the most of now and be happy. Life passes by so quickly and it's such a waste to dwell on anything.
Anyway, enough of this philosophising. I'm off to Pilates in a bit then attempting to trawl the internet for the biggest, boldest and most beautiful light fitting money can buy to hang on my stairs...any suggestions?
Today's outfit (with exercise in mind):
Black old skool leotard (Jumble)
Very strange taupe trousers in jersey with ties at the hip and pointed ankles (Indian street market)
Vintage brown suede waistcoat (Chazza shop)
Fringed black skinny scarf (Sent to me by a lovely Blog follower)
Vintage Roland Cartier riding boots (Chazza shop)
Silver bangles and rings (India)
Silver ethnic earrings with coin trim (Chazza shop)
Enjoy the rest of your morning, lovelies!
Goan
