  • OH is watching the football so I've been packing up sold ebay stuff and pottering around on the net, I'll be going to bed soon myself, I feel shattered today, couldn't get to sleep last night which isn't like me at all.

Sorry to hear you're still in the office PF :(

How many pages have I got to read to catch up with you lot?

I'll do it tomorrow as it's a double dose of CSI tonight.

Lots of bargains which I promise to list on blog over the next few days, first lot on already!

Sleep well my darlings and see you in the morning!

    Evening all :)

Bah to missing the chat - I suddenly developed some energy and did tons of washing up, hoovered downstairs and then went for a swim! You know what, I feel tons better for having done it.

I love you guys :) Everyone in here is just so kind and caring and generally fantastic.
  • I agree we should all be celebrating how fabulous we are rather than feeling sorry for ourselves :)

I think I have, with the help of my friend covinced myself to buy the dresses I saw today in M & S, or at least one of them for the time being. I just need to go and have another try on of it on Thursday. I can't even remember the last time I brought myself something from an actual shop as I get most of my stuff off Ebay or from the car boot.

Thank you for reminding me about the free listing days on Thursday and Friday Magpye. I am definitely going to try and get a few more things listed - going into town today has made me think about my wardrobe and how it is (or isn't) working for me at the moment. Making it my aim to do something about that over the next few months :)

Evening all! Quick post as seems to be normal for me at the moment (curses on school holidays and temporarily out of work daughters!).

I covered up a bit today, I'm really bloaty as I've been eating and eating for the last few days!
    Black skinnies
    green polo neck
black waterfall waistcoat thingy - definitely my fat day go-to at the moment
    sheepskin ankle boots
    big silver butterfly necklace

And tonight in an effort to be more vain (seriously I'm so lacking in vanity these days!) I have painted my nails racing green. I used to have lovely nails but since giving birth 10 years ago they've gone so flaky and dry that nail varnish is a pain, I do love it though.

I'm considering dying my hair dark pink again, I use a proper pink dye over not completely bleached out hair and it goes really dark pink (like burgundy but less red) which shines bright under a light. It's horrid at the moment, grown out almost black on the ends and dark plum for about 2 inches on the root area. What I really want to do is dye the whole lot dark green but at 42 and living in the smallest town imaginable I'm not brave enough. Any opinions? If you haven't seen me then my blog (which I promise to update with my favourite shoes at the earliest opportunity) is linked from here.
