I have quite pink skin Vicki! But at least spots are now rare since I started using Alpha H last year(seriously, anyone old enough to have sun damage on their face who still has greasy skin should try it, from QVC or Ebay) and I've even been known to go out without foundation which I've not felt comfortable doing since I was about 13. I do have yellow powder which is good.

    Enchanted Forest it is then!!!
  • wow have I been inspired by this thread, have been lurking for quite a while and have plucked up the courage to come on board.
Have really changed my style over the past couple of months used to slob around in Jeans t-shirt and fleece when at home and black trousers and blouse for work. Now wearing dresses and tunic tops leggings etc.
Taking the change one step further tomorrow and having my hair cut, its currently about 3 inches below my shoulders, layered, leaving it completely in the hands of Steve my hairdresser am I mad.

Funny thing is today as my boys have friends round and I have been sorting I am wearing jeans, t-shirt and fleece ooops. Guess it was the wrong day to list my outfit for the first time :)

Hate having pic taken so will probably not join in that side of it but will be seeking advice on accessories I let myself down there big time, stick to the same 3 necklaces.

    that's me for now

    welcome choccy!

New people always know us better than we know them, so be sure to contribute lots so that we get to know your style likes/dislikes to be the chorus of style reason when you need it!

Daisybella, love the cakes! I love using edible glitter too (I'm such a big kid) and jump for joy when there is an excuse to use gold leaf. FWIW there is a white glitter spray available at Lakeland that I always find works well on white icing for a subtle shimmer...it also works well,IMO, on th un iced golden brown of biscuits in the winter/Christmas. its not very cost efective, but for big batches of biscuits spraying them all is easier/quicker.

Ohh thanks for that Lost, will check out lakeland!

My Mum has just text me to say she's bringing her friend back here later to collect her cakes
so my inner perfectionist is screaming at me now...
but hey-ho. Chances are she will love them and I will drown out my negative voice.

Already planning what to bake next, some mini muffins for the parents lunches I think,
apparently I'm likely to get more requests from people at Mum's workplace which is no bad thing as the more distractions in my life right now, the better.

I'm on cup of tea number 784937532 of the day and planning on doing little else but nurse my cold.
