RE: the mags things..I have always been a fast reader, and therefore wehn I recently (well, last Dec) moved to a larger town, I joined the local library, and I now walk there once every weekend, if I'm not away..I find it's really useful, as a big expense of mine was books, either in charity shops, or supermarkets etc..
Also, in college I remember we used to all buy one mag each fortnight or so, (about 4 of us) and swap them until we had all read them all - a little cheaper than buying 4 if you can find some more ppl who like similar mags..HTH0 -
It's been a bit chilly up here today, although quite sunny. Such deceptive weather!
Well, back to work for me today. No rest for them wicked!
Today's outfit is:
dark blue long sloppy cardigan, 3/4 sleeves (M&S)
white ribbed vest (M&S £4)
dark blue denim cropped trousers (M&S £5 sale)
tan slouchy Pied a Terre short boots (Fenwicks sale, £?)
stripy socks (it's that time of year now!)0 -
Thanks for the advice on fashion magazines. I normally used to buy them to read on the train or in the bath. I just make sure I carry a book with me everywhere now, which is helping.
I mainly meant that it's nice to have somewhere to get a bit of fashion inspiration from, you ladies sound very stylish in your very individual ways, it's great:beer:0 -
I find fashion blogs are great for inspiration..and freee!0

Sorry if this has already been posted, but has anyone who can remember wearing the 80's fashion first time round been into Matalan in the last couple of days?! It was like looking at my wardrobe as a new wife & mum 20-odd years ago!! Lots of electric colours, drapey jersey tops, drainpipe stonewash & bleached jeans, a few "new romantic" frills & shoulder pads, leggings......
I have to admit it was really quite scary!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hey people, I'm first in today so hope I did the date right.
Today I've got on:
Bright photographic rose print vest (Topshop via ebay £15) tucked into: (I'm all about the tuck in at the mo for some reason)
Black high waisted, belted straight skirt (Topshop sale £7)
Two chunky gold bangles on right wrist (Topshop sale £2)
Black tuxedo style light weight cardigan (Topshop via ebay £4)
And I can't decide beween black fringed ankle boots and gladiators, don't you hate when its really early and you can't decide whether its gonna be sunny enough for what you've got on?
I am almost never dressed for rain as its so windy here umbrellas turn inside out and I don't own anything with a hood, though have been known to snaffle one of boyfriend's hoodys in desperation when torrential rain starts. What do you guys wear in the wind and rain? Have a great day everyone! xxStarted Comping 25th September 2013.

This evening I'm going out and have no idea yet what I'll wear. I'll return and edit this post when I've decided.0 -
