Hear, hear! Glad you've come back and sorry to hear your news. Have a lovely movie afternoon. xx0 -
Welcome back erichamster
Well done on the weightloss lostinrates :j
I hate fashion/beauty magazines. They make me feel fat and miserable so I just don't read them. I do quite like a mooch through the style pages in Heat every now and then but if I read through something like Glamour I can literally feel my mood going lower and lower. Quite a bizarre feeling!0 -
Welcome back erichamster:)I'm having a movie afternoon too with my OH but we keep getting disturbed and have now given up:rotfl:

I'm a long way from it! I gained a lot of weight when I became ill a few years a go and has gone up and down a bit since then.I want to be small nough to ride small ponies again, but realistcally probably won't be. DH says he thought i was too thin before anyway. I'm 5 foot 5 and curvey anyway, but light boned. I don't know what weight is right for me now (I use dto be quite fit, whereas I doubt I'll ever have that muscle back) but I guess a size 10-12 will be about right for me. I'll know when I'm there. I know its not ideal to go without a target, but assuming I can't be as thin as I was, and I won't be as heavy as I was without the muscle when I'm ''the right size'' its all a guess.

Hello again all. Erichamster, welcome back, nice to see you posting again. Goanmad, you put us all to shame with your honourable principles! I don't like being told what to wear either, but I am interested in fashion as a subject and do enjoy learning about new trends and such. Sunday Times Style is a fab magazine, Pirate Fairy. I love spending a Sunday going through the papers, catching up on the week.
Oh and Pirate Fairy - thank you! I always think you sound very pulled together! I think the accessories have it. You can make the oddest, most mismatched outfit look coordinated with the right accessory, I think. Just back from Urbis, was a fab day out and we're going for drinks in a little while too.0 -
I think everyone on this thread all sounds very pulled together (and your all lovely, too)
I'm such a magazine junkie. If I gave up my magazine habit I'd be rich (well, not rich but still)
Bloody cold here. Ugh. Come back Summer....
today:
long sleeve black cotton top: £2 matalan ages ago, but only found this morning
black with floral print vintage dress: £15 from yellow shop in Bath
black cardigan: £free from Mum's wardroble
black organic cotton tights: £1.50 Boots
grey boyfriend blazer: £20 new look
black biker boots: £18 peacocks
I forgot I had a blood test booked today and had to peel off all my layers. Oops.0 -

Arg, I hate that too!! Just looked in the diary and noticed I have a dr appt tomoro..which means a new prescription, something I haven't budgeted for this month and won't be able to afford until payday - which is a bit of a !!!!!! considering it's a daily med
Am trying with the budgeting, but it is jolly dull, and I'm such an impulse spender I doubt I'll ever stick to one!!0 -

Thank you, will remember that when I'm having a bad dayxx

Hello stylish ladies!
Hope you don't mid if I join in. I stumled across this thread while trying to look for an good but bargain priced hairdryer offers!?!
Anyhow, you all sound rather lovely and it would be so nice to post now and again. Shouldn't every day otherwise I would ramble on and on!
Few comments:
1) Today -indigo jeans ( Craozy clearance £13- best fit I ever found and got cashback via Quidco via SImply Beach AND used a discount code). They basically cost me about £8. Also, black cashmere polo neck. Can't beat them. TK Maxx (£40).
2) magazines? best thing to do if you want to occasionally induldge is sign up to say Let's susbscribe via Quidco. the choose a good offer on a mag you like. i.e. last week I did She 3 months for £3. They set up a DD. I cancel it in the next two months or so then I have effectively been paid £1.50 to read 3 issues of She!! I do this via Topcashback as well and just rotate every few months and there is not a limit to the amoun of times you can do this but check the t&c's.Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!0 -
Hi ladies,
I've not posted here before, but you all sound lovely and stylish!
I love mags and used to have a very expensive addiction. Now I limit myself to the odd 1 or 2. I read a lot, and fast, so am always after something new to read and mags were the easy option!
Today I'm wearing:
Grey high waisted pencil skirt: £13 Primark
White wrap around shirt: Principles, no idea how much as bought it ages ago.
Black mary jane's: Dp £15 in the sale.
Wish I'd remembered to by some tights, cold legs!0
