    I need help!

I might need a swiming costume this week, I have two, bith have issues. One is a very prosaic black and pink number, with a bosom shelf, not cups, this is decent and unexciting, and might be my best bet but I hate it. I have a second swimming costume that is slightly more glam, its only M and S, pink paisley sort of thing, ith a halter neck and under boob tie thingy. Neither really do much for my boobs, (next time its cups not shelf) but I don't want to buy another as I'm really trying very hard to lose weight and ti have three barley used swimming costumes is even more stupid than two barely used swimming costumes. The pink one probably looks worse, but ''feels'' better. I'm going to try some judicious stitches for a bit more shape/support (particularly at the front where the v is too low, goes beyong the tie, and gapes, I thought a few stiches where its meant to meet might help).
I am aware confidence is all, especially when one is overweight to make looking good in swimwear impossible, its a damage limitation exercise...I don't know which to wear. I'm guessing most of you will say black and unglam for the slightly better support....and if you do it will make plumoing for that easier. :)

I'd go for the pink one if it "feels" better and paint your toenails fuschia pink and slap on a bit of fake tan if it makes you feel a bit more confident.
I'm at the baths at least 3 times a week and black swimming cossies tend to make you notice the shape of the person wearing them more than a brightly coloured one, as your eye is drawn to the pattern rather than the body, if that makes sense.

Been awol from posting for a bit. Glad to feel the happy vibes back on this board though!!

Had a fab hol in Italy at the beginning of the month. Back down to earth with a bump last week as my very old moggie was poorly when I got back and had to be PTS on Wed:cry:.

Been off since 31st Aug but last day off work today, so got the starting -the-new-term-at-school feeling!

    Back later.

Bit of a dull day here today, bleh..

Can anyone advise me on somewhere, online or otherwise where I can buy Uggs at a good price, if online preferably uk based but not essential I was in Office at the Weekend and the ones I liked were £155:eek:they must have the Ugg logo at the back, shallow I know but thats what I like:D

  • Lovely to see you back, Bronnie, sorry to hear about your cat. Stay positive!

I've had such an amazing weekend. The wedding was beyond fabulous. My dress went down well but the shoes were killers, they were off by 8pm (bearing in mind the ceremony didn't start 'til 5! :))!

Anyway. I'm off work for the next week, which is so lovely. At the moment I'm wearing peach star print PJ bottoms, a white vest and a grey marl zip up hoody! Stylish. I am planning to get dressed in... a while! Will update later. Happy Monday, stylish posters!

Hello all! Definately an autumnal nip in the air today, yuck, I hate it.

GrammarGirl - I'm so glad you had a great time at your mum's wedding, I was thinking of you, the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

We saw Reverend and The Makers last night as part of Birmingham's free festival, Artsfest. I'm a big fan and have paid to see them previously so very happy and a truly money saving night out (apart from the overpriced cider in the Rep Bar). :j

Been to yoga this morning and just contemplating the huge pile of eBay sales I've got to wrap up and the even bigger pile of ironing of stuff to photograph and list this week:rolleyes:.

    It's casual yoga attire today:
Black cotton hareems with graphic grey print (50 rupees, India)
Grey mahl vest (Topshop 7 years ago!)
    Black rubber flip flops (India)
Silver tribal bangles and rings (India)
Silver dangly earrings with moonstones (Tibetan settlement, Karnataka)
Devotional Shiva pendant on a black leather thong (India)
TopShop black longline angora/wool cardi (50p Car Boot sale)
Canvas tote bag with picture of Indian dancing girl (India)

    Enjoy your monday! xxxx
