  • Hello there! I'm off work today, my lovely mum is getting married tomorrow so we're having a pamper day in preparation! We're getting our nails done at 2pm then I'm having my hair trimmed. Tonight I'm going out for food and to the cinema. Such a lovely day planned! Tomorrow is the big day - so excited! Anyway, here's mine for today:

Skinny jeans (River Island via eBay, £7)
White and navy striped jersey top (Topshop, £16)
    Red cardi
Black patent pumps with gold detail
    Long chunky gold beads
Navy blue ribbon headband with flower (I'm wearing this straight across my head in a 60s flower girl style)

    Happy Friday!

Ohh I love some of your outfits so much, I find them really inspirational especially your accessories. Thanks! :T

And shortly when I go out for lunch I shall team these with
A blue and white lumberjacky check style shirt (Primark £7)
Superdry leather jacket (Cult £110 - investment piece, honest! :rotfl:)
New Look brown gladdiator sandals £20
An assortment of little coloured glittery indian bangles, collected over the years
Brown studded morrocan over body handbag (a pressie)

    What a fab outfit, RainyWednesday.

Gorgeous day today. I've been swimming and had a quick mooch around town although after the tremendous bargains i got from yesterday's jumble sale the charity shops were a tad dissapointing. Had a great night of sales on eBay last night and have a pile of things to wrap. Shall do some listing this afternoon then hit the town later.

    At the moment I'm wearing:

My favourite Van Allen Maxi dress in green cotton with psychedellic floral print which I bought from eBay over 3 years ago. The lady I bought it from purchased it with her grant money in 1971 and wore it to the Isle Of Wight Festival. Since it's travelled to many festivals with me and even been clubbing in Mumbai - they don't make them liked they used to. I've had lots of compliments from ladies of a certain age telling me how feminine and pretty I look in it!

Leather studded gladiators (50p car boot sale)
Vintage tooled leather saddle bag (£1 charity shop)
    Usual Indian silver tribal jewellery
Oversized vintage sunglasses (part of my collection)

    Have a groovy friday!

Nice day here too, although I'm stuck at work so I can only appreciate how nice it is through the window!

I so did not want to get up this morning, and got up half an hour later than I should have done, so consequently today I am wearing:
slouch jeans (New Look £6 sale)
black loose t-shirt (New Look £4)
ancient old brown leather belt (pinched it from my dad :rotfl:)
spotty scarf round hair (didn't have time to wash it, see above!)
Benetton green suede flats with applique flowers - had to be comfy shoes today as yesterday's pinched my toes quite badly and I've got a blister.

GrammarGirl, hope you have a fab day tomorrow.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Its getting cold. DH is home, and cooking (ok,I did starers and puddings, but thats done). We're having sme friends over and I'm freshly bathed and relaxed, not trying to keep my makeup from melting in a hot kitchen. :) Luxury!

So, they are good friends, relaxed, we can dress as us, no refining. I'm wearing a no longer good enough for proper evening wear (one of my made it to houseclothes evening wear items) green taffeta skirt (has/d a separate bustier) with thick warm heathery purple boot socks and because I can't find the long sleeved v neck t skirt I wanted I'm wearing a black vest and tie front cardigan with it, its just cold enough. I've been experimenting making head/hair bands, with nckalaces I'm not wearing, and I have a multicoloured Murano bead one in my hair now (its ok, but it catches a bit), with murano glass ear studs, my wedding ring, a multicoloured glass cocktail ring and a swirly link and clear Murano ring. For OrangeProse to have some male company DH is wearing red cords, a sort of mushroom coloured and silver long sleeved t and (at the moment at least) a red hat the wears in the house at winter.

Although its been a beautiful day there is a distinct chill in the air, and our dining room is not a warm room, so we're lighting a fire! Perfect friends and relaxed supper evening.

Tres stylish! :rotfl:The evening outfit sounds much more attractive!

Hope everyone's enjoying the glorious sunshine today. Just back in from a car boot sale and BF is in the process of making some veggie sausage sandwiches before we lounge about in the garden all afternoon reading the papers.

Looking forward to a night out in Birmingham later, it's Artsfest this weekend, lots of free entertainment including a set by Reverend and The Makers (Jon McClure rocks!).

    Today's outfit is:
Black cotton shortie playsuit with bird print (£4 from a sample sale)
High leg leather gladiators (£3 Indian street market)
Brass, woven and wooden bangles (collected over the years)
Two chunky gold-tone rings (Ex-Accessorize via car boot sales)
Brass dangly disc earrings (Women's co-operative, India)
Black Celia Birtwell tote bag with floral print (chazza shop 50p)

    Enjoy your weekend!

    xx
