Great blog retro.
Don't think I'll ever do a blog. I'm not that brave.0 -

So it was serious enough for us to nag you? Oh well...better the claustrophobia for a short while than continued and worsening pain....don't you think?
I'm glad you're getting sorted out you dear thing. Enjoy the rest of the day!0 -

Well done for being so braveI'm exactly the same. I actually don't think more than about 3 photos of me from 2004-2009 exist, I was that paranoid about looking vile in them
Although I did find a back view of me ( ) taken about 2 years ago at work - oh the horror of it. I might use it as my "before" pic when I get down to target weight and do the official before and after shots.

Sadie- I give you a month, tops, before you cave in and blog
Right, decent amount of course work done, enough to stick to my self imposed time scale,
time to list a few bits on ebay
(after I make more coffee!)0 -

Lost I have days like that sometimes, despite the list of things to do I just flutter around doing none of it very well. Often end up with a half loaded washing machine. Or a sink of cold water by the time I remember I ran it for the washing up!
Daisy, that dress is lovely

Off to a friends for lunch in an hour or so, just having a coffee at marks and sparks as I had a voucher for the cafe too! And may go for a wander round that shop my mum sent the vouchers for, to try and cheer me up a bit..
Hope the scans go ok hun...try to relax and enjoy your lunch and if you need to buy something to cheer yourself up then do it...you can get back on the wagon tomorrow. x**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -

Ah fair enough, good luck with it. Perhaps I wouldn't hate it so much if I did it at a reasonable time of day instead of last thing at night. I have been known to give up halfway through and just sleep on the sofa instead.piratefairy wrote: »Appt went as expected I guess, feeling a bit down about things as I have to go for more scans and I hate the claustrophobic feeling of them

Have a lovely afternoon hun and here's hoping the scans get to the bottom of things.daydreambeliever wrote: »Well I've actually got an outfit to report!
I normally just wear boring jeans and tops, but all the talk of sewing reminded me that I've still got a maxi skirt that I made in the 70s and after recent weight loss I can get into. I wouldn't dare wear it outside so it's just while I'm at home.
Black satin maxi skirt with dragons and pagodas in greens, purple, orange and yellow
Black three quarter sleeve top from Matalan
Lime green V neck blouse with cut away sleeves that I made myself and am wearing over the top as a waistcoat
That maxi skirt sounds amazing!0 -
Hello!
I've never posted on this thread before but I was wondering if you girls can help!
It's my H2B passing out parade from the Navy a week today and I need to come up with an outfit that's smart/casual (Dreaded combination!) not to mention warm as it's going to be outside. I was thinking jeans tucked into boots with some sort of top and coat or a leggings/boots/dress combo but I really have no idea! I've recently lost jsut over a stone so most of my clothes are either too big or still a bit to small so I am planning on buying a whole new outfit.
Any ideas?!Mortgage Free by 40 Challenge #190
