If my husband knew the true number of my collection i think he would pass out. It makes me sick thinking of how many but yet i still buy!!

I have a top very similar to that one, jeans and boots would be great or leggings and boots/pumps!

ARGH leggings! they show off the bumps !!! not good lol

I was looking at that top the other week and wasnt sure . . will have to go have a nosey! I havent got any pumps - Well i have but they're white and for the wedding lol not sure i could get away with those ones!!

Moonbabe - I'm going to try Primark at the weekend - I HATE the place tho so may come back empty handed x

Noo get a pair that fit right and they hold it all in. I look better in leggings than jeans as it gives support to my tummy & Hips which is where i carry all my weight

I prefer leggings to jeans, they fit me much better and I find them more comfortable!

Hello Sadie! Welcome to the gang!

Love the cardi, MM. Be cute over a pretty dress as well as skinnies.

Tara - try and get hold of a copy of "Yeah, I Made It Mayself" by Eithne Farry. It's the same approach to dressmaking as I use, make it and don't worry if it's not perfect. There's some inspirational and easy ideas in there for converting charity shop stuff and retro fabrics. I went on to a workshop she ran at a festival in the summer.

My eBay purchase (first in a while) arrived earlier and I love it! Shall be showing it off on the Blog some day soon.

I love tea dresses too, but are very expensive in DP for the style/material I find... £45 for polyester?! I think not. I just recieved a prize I won from the sanctuary back in dec. advent competitions!

    Ohh I'm intrigued Goan :)

I've taken delivery of the clutch bag I won this morning, and super cute birdie brooches from piratefairy.
    I love post!

...eek, I talk too much :o Believe it or not, I've made a good start on my course work though!

    My wardrobe clearout comes later!
My friends will be here in about half an hour, so I'm going to work/chat till then...entertain them for an hour,
then give up on working, and read blogs/hunt through wardrobe for sellables!
  • Goanmad that book looks fab, have stuck it on my amazon wishlist, hopefully the Mr might take a hint! I did textiles at school but it was adefinate love/hate thing. I loved sewing a creating, but hated the regimented way they made you make things and the teacher who took an intense dislike to me!

Think I will have to look at investing in a little sewing machine, think Dunelm Mill and the Range do a reasonable one.

    Welcome Sadie!
