Daisy I definitely think you should keep blogging but I think it might be better to completely disable comments for a while because I'm sure you don't want to hear them if they are negative, they'll go into your head whether you mod them or not.
Moonbababe - it's not a thread or anything, I just put it in my sig as a personal challenge. I'm hoping it is doable! I spend too much on books ie I buy them because I love them so much and don't always consider if I'll get my moneys worth.

Oops, forgot to say, the velvet leggings came but they are way too short. I thought they'd be ok as I usually wear them above the ankle but they look silly. I guess I'll just have to make my own!

mariel - still not tried mine on yet..maybe this eve..i prefer leggings that are too long over too short, is it weird to wear them over the ankle so they end halfway over your foot? thats what i always do lol

daisy, i think i'd agree about disabling the comments, although mine are mod'ed and i quite like that i get to read them all first (not that i get many lol)

and thanks for the offer lol..i wouldn't mind so much, but a different friend was coming for tea last night and cancelled about half an hour before, so was a little frustrated as she'd agreed to bring tea!! (having a stupidly broke month already, despite the fact it's officially one week since payday - blame the ex's inability to sort out his own financial mess!) grrrr~!!!!

Topshop are so all over their place with sizes (as are most shops, thinking about it).
I'd be tempted to send it back, especially if it's too big and it isn't a *need*
but I'd also be reluctant not to keep it.

In short, I am NO help.

still think it's an easy one to replicate!!! it's an expensive jumper anyway, and more so if you keep it cos you like it, and then only wear it once because you're not quite sure!

(wow i sound like my mother!)
  • Daisy, I too love recipe books, but try to make sure they are at least a bargain or ask so them as gifts. Love all the piccies!

Mariel I think I will definately join that challenge, will make the OH happy when I come back from the food shop bookless!

PF I always like my leggings to be long, is begining to annoy me that my jeggings start to creep up over my ankles!

Re leggings/jeggings, does anyone else refuse to wear them as actual trousers?! I can't get my head around the idea of my crotch being on show in something that tight! I always wear a long tshirt or dress over the top.

I couldn't do leggings as trousers, well, not unless my bum is covered!
  • I wear treggings as trousers if that counts, but always with knee length boots and if I'm wearing a short top I balance out wit a long cardi. I never quite understood jeggings and as for leggings well I'd nver wear them as normal trousers. There is something about treggings having a button, waist and pockets on the bum that make me feel safe about wearing them IYKWIM?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!
