  • Daisy, I for one would miss your photos if you chose not to post anymore.

I think it is a very small minority who choose to ignore what your blog is about, your sense of style.
Moderated comments are a good way to go, and just remember, those with negative things to say obviously have issues with themselves and shouldn't be taking it out on other people.
Plus maybe it would help to be able to see the progress you are making?

daisy, if you're worried about it hun why not just post the different outfit components for the day, so that it's still posting the outfit, but avoids the comments?? just for a little while, until your confidence returns..but i think your attitude towards the whole situation is good, i know things are tough but at least you're facing them and not letting it all happen..

lost, your tights escapade did make me giggle!

thanks girls, I really appreciate your thoughts...
I try not to talk about it too much on my blog, but if things continue with comments/e-mails despite moderation I will say something.

I'm sorry to drag it in to here, too :o

Don't be apologising, we're here to talk and/or listen :)

Oh I'm going to join the blog gang over the weekend, I've decided. Need an hour or so of peace to get my head round setting it up (is it hard to do?) and then to work out how to take some proper photos!

ps - there is no way in the world I could spend less than £50 a year on books. They are my one true indulgence.

You girls are just so lovely :o

    Alex- HURRAH for blog!

    Back on MSE topic,
Books, I very rarely buy as one thing this town does have is a decent library! I am a bit addicted to recipe books, as is my Mum, but we either split cost, or get them from discount book shops (also loads of round here), or have as gifts.
I do like the sound of the challenge, good luck to those of you doing it!

i would join in, but have decided to go one up and just ban book-buying altogether..because the ones i do have, all read once, could be read again quite happily..and i tend to go to the library on my trips into town at weekends..which i quite enjoy..
at a loss as to what to do this eve, was supposed to be going to a friends, but she cancelled (again) and feeling a bit lost so not really fancying staying in on my own all eve :S
