I am a Primark and ELF addict!
Some of my Primark things date back maybe 5-6 years and are still going strong. I think it is a place where you need alot of patience(abit like TK Maxx). I tend to go for basic items that will not date, and I 2nd the fact that their jeans are great
I tend to steer away from the more 'fashion' peices that they have as I dont fancy seeing a load of people wearing the same thing as me on a night out! Oh and always check the sale rails! Primark has got a lil more expensive but recently have seen a few dresses that have been £15-20 and wouldn't spend that much on a dress from Primark(or anywhere really!) but they have turned up on the sale rail a couple of months later for £5.
Re ELF I cannot rave on about it enough. Since discovering them a year or so ago I rarely use any other make up brand, and feel slightly ripped off if I do! My favourites are the nail varnishes and the mineral foundation.
Will definately have to try the mystery shopping thing! Can always do with a meal out!
Hope everyone is having a good afternoon. Over halfway to the weekend

I can't believe i've just found this thread! Is page 167 too late to join?!
Not sure i'm brave enough for a blog but i'll be having a look at some of them on here.
Today i'm wearing jeggings, Ed Hardy white top, grey long topshop cardi and my lovely new military boots (yes, inside! they're that lovely

I guess I'm odd in that Primark jeans and I do not get along! They are always too big on the waist and too tight on the legs
Shame as they always look so good on other people.
Moonbabe- how well do the ELF polishes last? I love OPI and China Glaze for classic colours, but am looking for cheap alternatives for more trend led ones!
Tsabo- welcome

I am having the afternoon off and slouching in a hoody, having just taken delivery of my bargain topshop dolphin boots http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=175037&parent_category_rn=175013&productId=1387074&langId=-1
Gorgeous boots and a total steal for £40. I love boots, I've recently took a few pairs to the charity shop though. I could have ebayed but I never think it's worth the while for the small amount of actual ££ that you end up making...do any of you guys ebay?*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Primark jeans don't really like me. The crotch always seems very far down, tight on the bum and baggy on the thighs!
I'm a total jegging and legging convert now, I didn't really like them before but they're comfy and can look good.

i like to keep my leggings underneath a skirt or dress, the jeggings thing will never be for me i fear!
well done on the work, daisy - much more dedicated than i would be! (i was the absolute queen of last minute at college / uni!)
queen, i really used to love ebay, but we're slowly falling out it seems, with all the fee-hikes, and the free p+p options popping up all over the place..i still sell most things i decide i don't like, and it can be great for some bargains, but the novelty is kinda wearing off..0 -

Of course - selling my old stuff is what helps me buy new things! Plus it keeps my OH off my back as I can say well I sold some old stuff I don't wear so that makes it ok
I have to say I find Primark clothes very hit or miss for me. They never seem to fit me properly and their sizing always seems to come up smaller than other places. I do like buying accessories and home stuff in there though - just as well we don't have one in Milton Keynes as otherwise my new obssession for accessories could get expensive!!! At the moment I tend to buy most of them from the local car boot
