Oooh pretty shoes Alex, they would look so lovely with my outfit today, it has tiny red roses printed all over. I have always shyed (sp?) away from red as thought it might look too tarty but have fallen in love with the colour recently.

I'm eagerly awaiting some lemon and poppyseed muffins which are baking at the moment. I hope they are good because I want to take them to a meeting this evening (so I don't wolf them all myself!). They might look a little sloppy as my assistant was very eager to get the mix in the paper cases!

Oooh Vicki- muffin recipe please, my MUM loves lemon and poppyseed muffins but I've never found a tried and tested recipe!
  • Yes recipe please! They are my oh's favourite, can make him some for Valentine's day then. :D

I'd go for the blue, although the first pair look easier to walk in.

I'm having trouble keeping that style of shoe on my foot when I'm wearing tights, my foot just slips out at the heel all the time.

    Any tips?
  • How about either party feet or insoles? I tend to use them for slippery shoes with tights.

I don't like leopard print so definitely the second pair. Although I think I do prefer that style in black...

These are my vintage inspired shoes I bought on monday I know I'll never wear them but I love them!

I don't usually got for white but I was thinking they'd go with blue jeans and white vintage mohair jumper, plus a brooch of some sort and strings of pearls...if I was ever to wear them which I prob won't, they'll end up in the grave yard with my other pretty shoes!

Matalan had some gorgeous jewellery, including a carousel necklace... but it was £12, which I didn't have. They also had some really cute bracelets and necklaces with cameos (easy enough to make yourself though) and pearls, and also little dangly cups and general cuteness. I managed to resist though, so all I bought were some socks from there.

You've reminded me I need to get back in to jewellery making badly!
