daisy - hope you find lots of lovely things today :)

I ventured into Laura Ashley for the first time last night and bagged myself a skirt. I haven't bought a skirt since at least 2002!! It's very nice and plain though, so nothing too adventurous, just a black knee length A line jersey skirt. Reduced to £18 from £60 as well :D

Woke up feeling grim again this morning and so had no time or energy to pick out an interesting outfit. I'm basically wearing what I had on on Sunday (it is clean, I was only dressed for a few hours then!)

alex, i love laura ashley, evene though i think it still has a bit of the "old lady" connotation..i dont mind, they do lovely quality floral dresses, and its especially good when they have your size left in the sale!

    Morning everyone!!

Off on my epic train journey today (3 hours and 26 minutes with 2 changes - groan) Never mind - it will be a lovely break to just chill and forget about everything!

My outfit is smart comfy :rotfl:

Black Next bootcut jeans (I have just discovered these are incredibly comfy!) (£7, Next online sale)
Grey knee-length socks (Primark, Xmas pressie from Mum)
My trusty Nikes of course :)
Black swing coat (Evans, Xmas pressie from Mum) Pink chunky scarf (Bon Marche via Mum for Xmas)

Perfume is CKIn2U, jewellery is blue sparkly watch (£8, New Look Leicester) silver ring set (£15, Avon) and silver bracelet (birthday pressie from Mum)

My mishmash of luggage is black and white flowery wheeled holdall (£13 from a shop in the Pallisades in Birmingham) lilac rucksack (this was about £4 from DownTown in Grantham) and my beloved beige and green Radley handbag (John Lewis but Xmas pressie from Mum)

Hope everyone's good - see y'all on Sunday!!! xxx

Sounds like some great outfits going on today. PirateFairy I love those boots! Nothing like a good pair of shoes to cheer you up!

RainyWednesday, I love that skirt, I can imagine it being a versatile piece!

Becky_rtw, I find that H&M is good for smaller sizes. Also the teen section in New Look has some great 'smarter' peices plus basics like jeans.

Alexnikov, well done on you Laura Ashley bargain. I love the amazing prints in there, but never seem to be lucky enough to find anything in the sale in my size :(

LIR, hope your neck feels better soon.

DB hope things are getting a little easier for you, time is a great healer.

It is so cold here today, made even worse by my bosses aversion to central heating! Have got a little electric heater under my desk in an attempt to stay warm!

    Today I am wearing

    Skinny jeans, Primark
    Grey legwarmers, Primark
    Suede slouchy boots, Thrifted
    Grey tshirt, H&M
    Purple V neck top, MK1
Thick grey cropped cardigan with heart print, Primark

Piccies on my blog later. Am drinking copious amounts of coffee to try and stay a little warmer(not good seeing as I like mine black with 3 sugars :S)

Hope you all have a fab day!
