    I've been Money Tipped!
DH lived in NYC for a while. His family live there still. Funnily enough, unlike most here we're doing everthing we can to avoid living there ATM! We are serious anglophiles, and are trying very hard to settle here...

Today I'm wearing my old black ''was and evening dress'' belted/hitched up with a gold belt from a dress that I hated on the dress and some oversied sunglasses (I sometimes sleep having forgotten to takemy sunglasses off)When I go out I will put on some brown boots and wodden jewellery. and a gold lurex cardi from monsoon sale (£5 this summer).

I don't think we'd settle there for a very long time. Just a year or two, for the experience. I couldn't be away from my family for more than that anyway! :)

That is the single most fabulous thing I have read all week. Keep it up.

Oooh, I forgot to mention to you when we were discussing men's clothing the other week - Joseph is always worth a look. The quality is great, the styling is very elegant and understated and their shirts tend to be quite long, which means they not only tuck in well but they can often be worn out too, adding a bit of length to the body (I have a shorter body and very long legs so I sometimes need a bit of rebalancing out!).
"I'm not a one-trick pony. I'm not a ten-trick pony. I'm a whole field of ponies - and they're all literally running towards this job."
    An utter berk, 2010.

Sigh. I'll have to get you to take him out for me. ;) DH has opposite problem, he's not long of limb. He has beautiful legs though, relly toothsome thighs.:o

re hepburn-esque: it would work better if I were less overweight. I'm having a down on flab day :(

Money wasnt a prob the b/f was a roadie for a band who had been working in London but were originally from New York and were going back so he decided to go with them:D and I had a job with a sci-fi mag that had a New York office so transferring over to NY was simplish after going through the green card palaver and got over there 6 months after him......... shame it didnt work out;) But one good thing came out of it........ he definately had a gay man's taste in clothes and some of it DID rub off on me:D. I still keep in touch with him and I count him as a close friend, bless him, he's now married with 4 kids, his wife is an angel and dresses like Charlotte;)
