  • Morning everyone!

Big project is over, but still loads of work to do to organise this event tomorrow, so today's outfit is:

    - Pink V neck jumper (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Brown tweed wide leg trousers (H&M via sister)
    - Nude ballet pumps with black bow (Dorothy Perkins)
    - Black wool mix military style flared coat (New Look) to come into work
    - Brown leather handbag
    - Usual jewellery

Perfume and nail varnish are same as yesterday.

In work until half five, then home to do job applications and chill out.

    Have a good Thursday everyone!

Re Alex's brown ankle boots.....I think she's away now, but if I don't post these now I'll forget...

Sorry about the price tho'.... depends whether you want to 'invest' or just a quick fix!!

She's right, It is really hard to find dark brown ankle boots. The Primark brown flat ones with studded band DD got on closer examination are an absolute bargain at £14......definitely worth trying to see if they come back in store, they're not leather but to get 'the look' they are really surprisingly good quality and style!

Daisybella - fab bag!! I love Liberty, although I hated as a child when my mum made me wear Liberty print dresses lol. Did you get the polka skirt??

Glowgirl - how is Charlie kitten?

Lots of lovely brown boots!! I'm not buying any more boots this winter - remind me I said that. Dh is a roofer and work is a bit thin at the moment, so we're cutting back as much as poss.

I couldn't get on yesterday, no matter how many times I tried I couldn't make it work. So had to reset my password today. Shame, I actually wasn't wearing black!!

    Today I'm wearing:
    Black!!
Fitted black t-shirt type top with v-neck and a sort of bead detail and the v - M&S via mum
Black pinstripe trousers - Next £30ish I think they're few years old now
    Black boyfriend cardie - M&S £25, too warm for a coat :D
Bright pink pashmina as a scarf/colour - HongKong market pressie from my sister.
Grey & silver shoes, high wooden type heel and silver ribbon fastening - DP sale last year

Liberty might just be my spritual home. It certainly would be if it were in Venice, with a farm behind it, lol.

And it doesn't cost to breathe in there, so thats what I do! I'd rther spend a couple of hours wandering round Liberty not buying than those same two hours chugging up Oxford Street buying TBH.

That said, for those with expensive tastes, I don't know what they are like now but the basement sales used to be fabulous.

I have a beautiful Liberty print shirt from liberty I long to be slim enough to wear again, looks super with jeans and borwn boots.

I know what you mean and it's lovely to appreciate beautiful things.....I've just got this mega mean frugal streak that wouldn't let me spend on something like that bag when I know I could get something practical and cute for a fraction!

Can you wear your lovely shirt open with a vest underneath for now?

Oooh yes!! ...... and glowgirl, how is the little fella doing?

Happy Thursday! I can't believe how quickly this week has gone... probably because I've been so ridiculously busy for its entirety! I'm still feeling a little under the weather but dinner and drinks with the girls from work should perk me up tonight. Didn't get to update my blog last night as I went to see the Michael Jackson documentary which was fantastic but ultimately sad. I will be uploading two days of photos tonight, but in the meantime...

    Black skinny jeans
    Black floral print vest
    Long purple cardi
    Vintage owl pendant
    Owl face ring
    Green bow pumps
    Black leather jacket
    Green floral cotton scarf
    Black studded bag

Hope you're all feeling happy and heathy today. :)

Well there a 20% discount going around for faith right now so it's not so bad with that dicount.

I got told when it comes to foot wear to take £1.00 off everytime you wear them and if you get past the sell price then it a worth while investment. Hell my rocketdog pumps have paid for themselves 3x over right now :T

Kitten update - Charlie George is pulling through:TThere was a huge improvement in one day and now today he is flying about my house like a lunatic, I am very very happy and we all love him to bits already, the real shock is my dog, he is a huge 6 stone brute but he has taken Charlie George under his wing and watches him all the time, when I stop him doing something he comes with me and kind of nudges him he even licked him this morning:rotfl:When my dog barks at the door Charlie meaows and runs to the door with him:rolleyes:however my 11 year old cat hates him spits in his face and growls at him but she's a good girl and I know she'll come round. He has tablets for another 2 or 3 days and then I'm going to take some pics of him and with the dog too and put them up for everyone, thank you everyone for all your support, what goes around comes around;)
