Eek, Mrs_Ryan, I do not envy you, I hate trains, especially when I have to change!

I am so not a domestic goddess. Managed to burn two knuckles on my fingers whilst cooking lunch.

Afternoon to you all. I'm tired and grouchy today so have just shoved something on and hoped for the best! It's actually so warm here today, like a May morning!

    Anyway, here we go:

Purple jumper dress with scoop neck and bell sleeves
    Kingfisher green tights
    Brown studded boots
    Green chunky knit cardi
    Purple argyle-patterned hand warmers
    Beaded necklace

Hope you're all having a better day than me! xx

I thought I would ask this to all you fashionable lovelies :D I've got a cream cropped cardigan thats currently a very off cream colour (or as my mum calls it, bley(sp)) and just doesn't seem to go with anything! I'm wanting to dye it instead of buying another one (woohoo finally MSE!!) but 1. I haven't got a clue what dyes to use or where to purchase them and 2. What colour to dye it?

    Outfit atm:
Lovely velour tracksuit bottoms  (Primark in my pregancy days - doing housework though so I'm hoping I get away with it)
    Yellow vest top (Matalan)
    Eeyore slippers

    Later on though (for college)

Grey knitted (low v neck) top with white vest underneath (Jane Norman)
Either my skinny jeans or bootcut jeans (both Next)
EIther my black dolly shoes (Shoe Zone) or flat boots (no idea)

Got an exam tonight - not looking forward to this

Nikki, I found this site for you, which seems to make it fairly clear, although I haven't ever tried this myself, but remember someone on here recently doing so, so may best to wait for them...

Daisybella, congrats on the win - that's a fab shopping bag :)

GrammarGirl - the weather here has been odd like that as well, much more warm than anticipated, but I hope your day picks up!! :)

Nikki - Dylon do both machine dyes and hand dyes (where you put the item in a big saucepan and keep stirring). Wilkinsons sell them as do haberdashery shops, Tesco and some cobblers. They are both easy to use and it's great fun to transform a tired old piece of clothing into something new.

Hope everyone's having a good day. Two hours of eBay ironing, Pilates followed by listing on eBay all afternoon for me.

    Today's outfit is:
Grey leggings with a bizarre diamond pattern (Sample sale £2)
Grey ribbed TopShop vest (Car boot 50p)
American Apparel white long vest with grey stripes (Car boot 50p)
Tan leather belt with a brass and silver buckle worn at the hip (had for at least 10 years)
Tooled leather cowboy boots (Car boot 50p)
    Polished turquoise stud earrings (Present)
Silver snake chain with huge beaten silver pendant with a turquoise stone (India)
Silver tribal rings and a couple of bangles (India)
Grey army-style jacket (Topshop about 5 years ago)

Just bought my Big Chill tickets as they went on sale at 9am - so that's another fab weekend away planned for summer 2010 in addition to Glasto and CamperJam! :j

I can - my black ankle boots. But I do wear them a lot so they were worth it!

I have also spent more than £50 in one go but on more than one thing when I was stocking up on work clothes a few months ago.
