I am really tempted to just go for the cheapest possible last minute deal and head off to paris for a few days, to just be able to relax and do whatever i wanted for a few days of uninterrupted bliss..

    Go for it!

Thank you for all your lovely words yesterday. It did help. Dh and I seem fine, and I did some baking with dd yesterday. I am rubbish and baking, we got in a right mess and the biscuits tasted awful but we had a great laugh.

Yes do!! I can't think of anything nicer tbh lol. We had 2 weeks in the Dominican (pure bliss) for our honeymoon in June, but dh had a op the day after we got back which seemed to wipe all the holiday feeling out pretty quickly!! We're planning a short break to London as we were gives tickets to Vinopolis as a wedding present (my friends :j). I'd love some sun though!

I'm just rotating clothes at the moment!! I keep looking on ebay for something new and original but can't find anything. Need to do a trawl of the charity shops........

Black dress with cream bib/collar - Next sale £15
Fitted black cardie - Laura Ashley - ancient present
    black opaques
    brown boots - Next £80
pink/purple pashmina as a scarf - Hong Kong market - present from my sister
brown cross body satchel bag - Top Shop £30 last year

My sister is always travelling and has brought me back some lovely things. She's off to Thailand next week - lucky thing!

    Morning ladies

    1st the clothes
    Boyfriend jeans from River Island
Gray Cat Women T-shirt from H&M
Rocket Dog ballet pumps from Amazon (bargain - £11 due to £10.00 voucher from Toluna!)

Anyhow I was wondering if someone could answer this question. I want to buy a small locket heart but given it really small how on earth do you get a good quality picture inside of it?

Something that made me laugh this morning

Hi girls! Everyone who wants a holiday - go for it! Seriously, I think getting away from your everyday surroundings, even if it's just for one night, is a necessity. Go stay with a friend or have a shopping trip in a new city. It's good for the soul!

We're heading up to Edinburgh in early December to see Bill Bailey with the BBC Scottish Orchestra (SO excited for this, bf doesn't know yet as it's his birthday present!) and in March we're going to Paris for three days. We won two flights from Jet2's competition so it's worked out pretty cheap, although I'm prepared for an expensive time once we're there!

    Today's is:
    Skinny jeans
    Black roll neck top
    White vintage printed tee
    Black blazer
Black patent pumps with gold detail
    Long gold hoop necklace
    Big black cocktail ring

    Happy Tuesday!

Do it! I always have my November holiday by myself and it's bliss being able to do exactly what I want when I want.

I can't even afford a cheap last minute deal, *sobs*

    C'est la vie,
I'm hoping to get a weekend away in Feb, no where exotic, just up North a bit to visit a friend and her little boy.

    Afternoon lovelies!
A holiday on your own is a wonderful experience. I've done it and loved it! It's a great opportunity to catch up on your reading if nothing else.

Grammargirl - Bill Bailey rocks! Saw him last year and didn't stop laughing throughout the entire set. Your BF's a lucky guy.

Hope everyone's feeling brighter today. There was a piece on last night's news about how yesterday was officially one of the worst days for feeling down due to the clocks changing. Definately an evening for a good glass of wine and a long soak in the bath.

I've been swimming this morning, had a quick taz round the chazzas (nothing doing) and after some eBaying this afternoon shall bake some feta, olive and pumpkin seed muffins to have with salad for tea.

    Today's outfit:
High-waist acid wash skinny jeans (as yesterday)
Black chiffon puddycat blouse (Charity shop £1.60)
Kate Moss @ TopShop waistcoat (first collection, 3 years ago)
Office tapestry knee-high boots (Charity shop buy yesterday - lots of compliments today!)
Silver leaf shaped earrings (Ex-Accesorize via car boot sale 50p)
Silver tribal bangles and rings (India)
Cobalt blue cropped jacket (TopShop sale 3 years ago)
Black 1950's gold framed bag printed with roses

    Enjoy your afternoon!

Yeah i think tht's what i'll end up doing, as i cant really justify the cost of a proper holiday - was inspired by GrammarGirl's "staycation" though, so may incorporate that with visiting friends, and see where I end up..Oh, and try to catch some car boots / charity shops on the way ?? :)

kitten update - Poor Charlie George is really not well he was too sick to have his jabs today, it would seem he is barely 6 weeks old, has fleas, worms and cat flu and a secondary eye infection in both eyes:(The vet asked if he is eating and drinking which he is, a lot, the vet said if I had said he wasnt he would suggest putting him to sleep:(:( but as it is he has a 30% chance of surviving the next week if he makes it through he'll be ok, he has eye cream, antibiotics and flea/worm treatment, he's sleeping on me as I type, so pics are on hold for now, please say a little prayer for Charlie George, if he pulls through I'll share him with you all:o
