It was a bit of a damp start here, but when i wnt ut this after noon the light was amazing. I passed a woman in a red jumper and the red was just zinging in the very clear remarkable light.

    Wow I'm loving this thread!!!
I really need some oomph in my wardrobe/make up bag.
Only 21 but had a baby 4 months ago. Got so used to not bothering with makeup and only wearing comfy clothes for 9 months that I've now not got a clue what kinda stuff to wear :(.
Want a smart yet casual every day look - any ideas (lol were just about by the projectile baby vomit stage so I'm thinking my clothes will be safe!)

Make up wise - I'm pale skinned, light brownish hair and blue/green eyes

Hope someone can help me out my rut.

Nikki- clothes wise I could go on for ever, feel free to drop me a PM with a list of things you do/dont like and what you already have and I'll see if I can help?

Makeup wise, for simple daytime, I do a shimmery taupe eyeshadow (by Gosh), powder, pinky/peach blusher, lipbalm and mascara. I have very similar colouring to you by the sounds of it.

LOL Loving your sig........borderlakland! I think you're in good company on this thread!!!!!!!!!!

Off at a slight tangent, just been reading a thread on OS, there are a lot of folk there who are stock-piling food like mad and squirreling cash as they believe we are close to the point where the cash-points will no longer payout, food and water shortages and power cuts kick in and extoll the value of having a wind-up radio, fold-up water containers and plenty of torch batteries just in case.

No doubt there are hard times still to come, especially with so many people losing their jobs and with families. The thing is I consider myself OS and thrifty in many ways, but seriously stock-piling my house full of bags of sugar, food and toilet rolls in case of impending 'meltdown', in this day and age is something I find really hard to get my head around ( even at my age!) . I wonder if I am burying my head in the sand here, girls??

Now, to the matter in hand. Can I get away with a glimpse of subtle black leopard print tights between black skirt and black knee length boot..........or should I stick to plain black opaques?

(I already know what you're all gonna tell me and for that I thank you in advance, but I just need to hear it IYKWIM!!)
