I haven't worked out how to comment on blogs yet (I'm not a complete technophobe, honest!) but just wanted to say that the outfit looks lovely and the pattern on the dress is beautiful
What are people's thoughts on belts for plus size girls? I'm not brave enough to try them as I fear I would look like a sack of spuds with a rope tied round it  Don't really want to make my stomach and hips look any wider in comparison to the rest of me either!0 -

I'm wary too, alexnikov. Today I used a scarf both to hitch up my dress and conceal stains:o but otherwise, n'uhuh.
Part of the problem is my narrowest bit is my true waist, not the bit above, and belting my waist accentuates the bulge above0 -

Same around here for the most part, however a new one has recently opened that looks more promising

Thanks so much for your comments. Alexnikov, click on the '0 comments' link and it will open a form.
I think you should try a wide belt. Make sure it's not too tight or uncomfortable and sit it right on your waist. It'll look great! I often use them to break up block colours as well as create a shape.0 -
