same here, Brokeinwales. Am happy to send something if it would help (I won't send any of my tomato glut though, as I dread to think what Royal mail would do to them!).
Also, have you ordered the free fruit pack from Graze?

Blimey, BIW will be eating better than the rest of us
I've been there before, I remember one of our nicest meals 20 years ago when me and OH first moved in together was a pilchard curry, made out of a tin of pilchards, tomato ketchup and curry power _pale_ that was all we had in the cupboard!

BIW - Whereabouts in Wales are you? I may be able to help out...
Aso, can vouch for the 4p jars of curry sauce at sainsburys - it's really lovely AND healthy too. They also sell batter mix for 6 or 8p (thinking pancakes for brekkie!), and chocolate and strawberry angel delight style dessert for 2p a pack - maybe not a staple in your normal diet but something sweet whilst things are tough! Think they do a 10p shower gel too...0 -
i once had beans and pasta when i had no money - it was ok!0

When I first left home to live alone (30 years ago) I was totally and permanently skint and I used to go to the market on a Saturday and buy as much cheap veg as I could, plus some stock cubes and make a huge pot of veg stew. I ate that every night of the week, just reheating it from the fridge each time. Sometimes I'd really push the boat out and chuck a tin of baked beans in with the veg (a dented tin from the Reductions area at the shops, naturally!).August £10 a day challenge- £27/£3100 -
Are you on speaking terms with your parents ? If so call them & explain the situation , I dont have a great deal of money , but would " sell my soul to the devil" rather than see my child a similar situation .:)

When I was in your situation it was rice. Every single fracking day. If I was exceptionally wealthy in any one week I'd buy some stock cubes or pasta flavouring cubes and sprinkle a little into the water as it cooked. Comes out more like paella than plain old rice. Now add some frozen peas and you've got yourself a tasty dish. It's dull, but for two weeks you can cope with it.0
