    Like others have already posted, I'd chase the LL for the remaining amount. The cheek of her :mad: Maybe you could charge for loss of interest too?

    BIW: Well done and congratulations on getting so far and with the LL, persue the remainder of money- it's yours. Go back/phone solicitor who advised you.

    I'd definitely push for the £200 back. As she didn't protect the deposit, you'd be quite entitled to apply to your local county court for three times the initial deposit back.

    Definitely pursue the rest, and do it in witing recorded delivery with something added to the effect that if not forthcoming within 14 days court proceedings will be initiated and interest on the entire amount will be sought at judgement for the relevant time periods pertaining to each amount. I can't remember how long ago you left but she has had access to interest on your money for monthwell done on your persistence, it certainly pays.
